Property is perfectly situated. Close to the sorrento lift to get to the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Rooms accessible by elevator. Room was cleaned daily. Breakfast was good (and free) at Da Franco. Had a triple occupancy room. Room was spacious enough for 3 people

This property was phenomenal! We stayed in 5 properties total for our honeymoon and this is our favourite by far. The room was clean, free treats, water (and even champagne for our honeymoon). The staff couldn’t have been nicer. We checked in with Rafaela and she was so kind and funny. She recommended us all sorts of activities. Breakfast that was included was delicious (and great staff there too!) The beach club they are partnered with gives a big discount and it was great there as well! This hotel is central to literally everything and we had no issue getting around! Would 100% stay again

Not a luxury experience

We stayed at three hotels during our trip, and unfortunately, this was the most expensive and the most disappointing. It’s marketed as a luxury experience, and that’s what we paid for — but it didn’t deliver. The room was basic, and aside from the location, there was really nothing luxurious about the stay. Customer service was lacking — staff were either unavailable or unfriendly when we needed help. At no point did we feel welcome. When you pay this kind of price, you expect to be looked after. Sadly, that just wasn’t our experience.

Our host Raffella was pro active in providing recommendations , making connections for special sights , bus connections and even physically helping to carry our bags to a taxi stop she set up for us . An exceptionally helpful and charming personality !

We stayed here for 2 nights and would definitely stay here again. It is an easy walk from the train station (about 10 minutes) and right in the middle of everything. It was easy to find many delicious food options very close to hotel and it is a short walk to the water. The room we stayed in had a small kitchen. Rafaella was very responsive and gave us great recommendations. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great staff but not present 24/7. “Queen bed” was two small mattresses of average quality pushed together. Tiny shower but you’re in a historic building. You get a stovetop coffee maker to have Italian-style coffee for free every morning!!

This is a beautiful property in an excellent location. Easily accessible to all the major attractions in Sorrento. Raphaela is delightful and extremely helpful.

Amazing host and location !

My husband and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon and I’m so glad! It was a beautiful hotel with great hospitality in an AMAZING location in sorrento. We were able to walk everywhere from Sorrento Inn! Rafella was a sweetheart and we will be definitely be back!

Excellent small hotel in the heart of the old town

Small hotel in the heart of old town. Building is probably XVIII century, renovated of course. Small lobby has tour guides for your use; real guides, not an advertisement variety. A small library of books in multiple languages for reading. Rooms are not big but excellent: clean, modern look, comfortable mattresses. Kitchen is a perfect example of Italian design and fits inside big cupboard. Daily cleaning. Excellent Wi-Fi. The only possible trouble for some people could be that a car cannot come to the door - street is too narrow. You would have to carry your luggage about 200 feet. If you drive to Sorrento, the nearest parking is about 5 minutes away. I have to say separately about receptionists: exceptionally good and go beyond their duties to help. One evening we came about 9:30pm and Rafaella (her shift ends at 6pm or maybe 7pm) was waiting for us to warn about tomorrow's strike on the railroad. She is very nice and always available online. If we come to Sorrento again, I would definitely stay there and not even look elsewhere.

I booked this hotel based on 3 requirements: location, A/C, WIFI. The location was great however, the WIFI signal was too poor to make it usable and the A/C was broken. When I asked to be moved to a room with working A/C, I was informed that it had been broken for several months (long before my booking were it was advertised that there was A/C.). The room was way too hot and with the window open the road noise kept me awake all night. I also had to go to a nearby cafe to sign on to WiFi for work. When I brought this up to hotel staff, no appology or compensation were offered.

4 days stay with family @ Sorrento Inn Funzionista

I stayed with my wife & our 2 yr old son at Sorrento Inn Funzionista. Raffaella was a wonderful & sweet host. She explained us about the apartment/room and all the services provided by the Hotel. She also guided us about the nearby grocery services & other things we needed for our son. The property is located in the very historical center of the town with many good restaurants/bars/shops nearby. When we will visit Sorrento next time, we would surely stay there again.
