We had a wonderful stay in early July. It was wonderful to cool off in the pool after our daily excursiona. Located just outside of the busiest walking area, so we have the convenience without the bustling noise.

Location is excellent. Decent breakfast options. Friendly nice Staff. The room given to me was noisy next to the street and the pool and bathroom.AC in the room extremely cold and the remote wasn't working until one of the staff came and reset it. Still it was too cold. I was told to turn off the vent which I did and it got hot. I did mention about the room next to pool bathroom but was told if I don't like I can change. But room change time next day was too late and the day after we were too busy to pack and again and move. So had to stay and deal with this.(didn't get good sleep on the nights stayed)Except for the room, Everything else was good. I would book here again and not economy room and def not this room.

We originally booked here because it was close to the hospital, where our daughter was being treated. Just one minute away! At the base of a beautiful scenic 400m hillside, the Hotel Villa Maria has exceeded our expectations! Our room was clean and comfortable and comes with a private balcony! The hotel staff is very accommodating and the restaurant manager Luigi makes everyone feel special upon arrival! The pool is very nice and full of sunshine, and the pool bar is very reasonable. The drinks are delicious! Wonderful pool staff! Don’t forget on Thursday night that you have a pool party with a DJ, which is quite entertaining! 😂 The front desk staff has been very helpful as we have needed a number of things printed and prepared for the hospital, and they have been very accommodating, and full of smiles! They speak very good English, not needed but use Google translate to help sometimes. 😊 We’ve had to extend our trip a couple of times and they have been been helpful. The hotel is close to the main street of Sorrento. Just a short walk to everything it has to offer. I think you pay a little less because you are off the main strip, and it is probably quieter too. Don’t forget to go up to the sixth floor and take some pictures! You see all of Sorrento, Naples, Mount Vesuvius and all the other cities nearby. Just beautiful! In planning our return trip for next year, we will be rebooking here! Thank you for your smiles and friendship! Caio and enjoy!
