Situated on 4.13 acres in the prestigious Starr View Estates. 3 spacious bedrooms with views from every room in the house! Comfortably sleeps 6 (master- king bed, guest bedroom 1- king bed, guest bedroom 2- queen bed). Tastefully remodeled with concrete floors throughout and updated kitchen and bathrooms. Open floor plan with a charming living room, dining area, and large modern kitchen with stainless steel appliances . Fully stocked for all your cooking needs. Enjoy sunrise and sunset views and the most amazing stargazing from the wrap around patio. 6 person hot tub on the back porch is the perfect place to "wine down" with a glass of wine and take in the amazing mountain views and calmness of the Sonoita topography. So close to all Sonoita has to offer including wineries, brewery, restaurants & hiking!

Sonoita/Elgin features more than 15 wineries and tasting room. Also known as a great spot for hunting, bird watching, and star gazing. Tons of hiking opportunities including the "Arizona Trail". Patagonia Lake State park is a 30 minute drive, and Parker Canyon Lake is about 45 minutes away. Kartchner Caverns State Park with amazing cave tours is only 30 minutes away.

Three female best friends stayed for a milestone birthday and we had a blast! The home had everything we needed, check in/out was easy. The hot tub was one of the reasons why we stayed given some of the winery's close earlier than what we are used to so it was nice to unwind. The views were extraordinary and Kate was helpful with questions about the area.

The home was great. Location was perfect for our trip. We were able to visit several different areas from the home. We enjoyed the Hops and Vines Winery which was quite close. We had a great time sampling some really yummy wines. We enjoyed the hot tub most evenings!There was plenty of space for all of us to cook and rest and relax. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

Great stay the house is lovely with some of the most beautiful views in the area. Sunrise and sunsets were outstanding. We had one small issue with a smoke detector and she had it fixed ASAP. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.

We really enjoyed the house! The hot tub was super relaxing and the location is amazing. While we loved the spacious living area and kitchen, we did feel a little like we were in a fish bowl since there are no curtains in that space. Also could have used more spoons, more coffee cups, and more hot tub towels. It is a great house and we would absolutely stay again. Thank you!

Great stay all around

We had a great weekend staying here with two other couples. The house was super clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The kitchen and grill were well-stocked, which made it easy to throw together a meal one night. We loved hanging out in the hot tub under the stars—it was so quiet and peaceful, and the sunsets were gorgeous. Great location too, really close to all the wineries. We’d definitely come back!

We spent 2 nights at the Wine Down Lodge. It had beautiful views of the Sonoita foothills. It was the perfect location for our trip to the Southern AZ wine country. The house was well appointed and very clean. Kate was very responsive to our questions. We would highly recommend this home and will come back.

Incredibly well appointed, great location!

We had a wonderful 2 day stay at ‘Wine Down.’ Unlike so many other rentals, it was incredibly well appointed with all the things you need to make a cup of coffee, cook a meal, etc! It was comfortable, clean and in a great location. It was easy to communicate with the owner and she was very accommodating. We will definitely recommend Wine Down to our friends and hope to be back ourselves!

Lovely home in a quiet, beautiful area

We met some friends for some orienteering meets in several remote desert areas. Sonoita was well placed for those, so we hoped to find a comfortable rental. The Wine Down exceeded our expectations. Well stocked, comfortable and spacious for our group of 4, it was the ideal base.
