Fantastic breakfast spread, nice welcome, room clean and comfortable, could do with a refresh, but no real complaints. it is an old building so a obit dark in places.

Great hotel for special experience

The hotel is located in easy walking distance to the centre of Eisenach. It has a themed interior and a splendid restaurant giving the impression that you are moved to Luther's times. The staff is very helpful.

Really nice place, but the room was tiny and the bed had seen better days. Breakfast was very good but there was only one person on duty for breakfast and the front desk

location, location

In addition to being a short walk from the old town of Eisenach, as mentioned above, Hotel Eisenacher Hof is directly below the Wartburg Castle (although this is a long, steep walk for those who go on foot). I don't believe that the hotel building is as old as some of its historic surroundings but it blends in perfectly. They stage a Luther-themed dinner show but I didn't see it to comment. A con about one of the pros - internet access was free but was not functioning during my stay.
