I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Bar Harbor Manor. From check in to check out, my experience was very enjoyable. Christopher and Constance are not only very professional but are also extremely knowledgeable of the area and took the time to explain options for me while discovering Acadia. The location of the property is very convenient. I could walk with ease into the downtown area, which offered many dining options, even while it is still offseason. The advantage of the location as well is it is a close enough walk to everything, but you don't have to drive through town to get to the property, which during the busy season will be very convenient. My experience at Bar Harbor Manor accentuated my time amongst the beauty and splendor of Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor in general.

I chose Bar Harbor Manor based on reviews and my husband and I were very happy with my choice. Constance checked us in this past Tuesday and was so very friendly and helpful. She helped me plan the things I had asked about Acadia and Bar Harbor and gave us maps with it all marked out. Then we met Chris shortly after and he went and got us yogurt and granola bars when I told him we would be leaving our room at 4:30am for sunrise the next morning. We were so grateful to him the next morning while we were up on the summit eating those treats. Our mattress was the most comfortable out of the 3 hotels we stayed at this past week. Slept like babies. Our room and bathroom were very roomie and had everything we needed. Grab and go breakfast in lobby with muffins, fruit, yogurt,etc., coffee all day (including flavored syrups/creamers etc) and chocolate chip cookies! The hotel is a few blocks from the stores and restaurants. We ate at two restaurants that Chris and Constance recommended and they were both very good. We felt very much at home at the manor and would definitely stay here again. They were so, so nice. We Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful place with very clean rooms. The grab-and-go breakfast was a great way to start our days. Its location is ideal – a quick walk into downtown Bar Harbor with its shops and restaurants, and easy access to the Acadia National Park. Highly recommend!

This is rare—it seldom happens. This was perfect lodging in terms of everything that you are looking for in mid-price hotels. Also, Chris, the management staff member, was very welcoming and helpful. He also kindly upgraded us from Queen to King accommodation. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends and fellow travellers. Clean, spacious, close to everything (bagel, groceries, eats, and gas), and yet tucked away in a cozy/quiet place. Strolling distance to everything that Bar Harbor has to offer. Many Happy Travels. Locals Run the Show

The folks who work at the front desks are locals who are happy to provide advice. One lady is very familiar with Acadia National Park and helped several guests plan their hikes. The gentleman advised us to eat at Geddy's. We ate steamers and local Haddock and were glad that we followed his advice.

It was a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming. Christopher answered all our questions about local attractions and even gave me some great dining recommendations. Being the off season, it was initially confusing on where to go to check in. There is no office or lobby. Once I found a door with a sign on it to call a number to check in, Brandon was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The room was very spacious and had a door to a balcony. Loved that for fresh air. It would probably be really nice on the summer. The entrance way to our building was spotless. The room was mostly clean. It didn't look like the vacuuming was very thorough as there was white lint scattered throughout the entire room. The bathroom was clean except a few spots of mildew in the grout of the shower. Otherwise, the tub and everything else was very clean. The room was stocked well with personal care items, coffee, microwave and a good sized refrigerator. The bed was quite firm.

Incredible customer service that served-us!!!

Guess what? I literally never stayed in the hotel. I didn't even breathe any of the atmosphere that was anywhere close to the hotel. Why the five stars? Because the customer service from Christopher at the front desk was the most top notch intergalactic experience from a place that I literally never stayed.. For circumstances beyond anyone's ability to control, my friend and I had to turn around before we even reached Bar Harbor. I spoke to Christopher about our plight and the way he handled everything was nothing short then some kind of a Greg Luganis super dive. Perfect 10! Not only was he kind, reasonable and treated me like his favorite cast member in The facts of Life, he gave us great advice for which we were deeply appreciative. I will be visiting Acadia National Park at some point as my schedule permits and all the reels on Insta couldn't distract me away from staying where Christopher and his lovely manager works. Ku-flippin-do's Bar Harbor Inn! My absolutely favorite place I've never stayed.
