Room wasn’t available at check in time. Told wasn’t done cleaning. 40 min late after 3pm check in, got key. After rushing to get ready for funeral, flew 12 hours to attend, found a shoe, flashlight, and candy wrappers under bed. Also ordered dinner in the restaurant after funeral and order was forgotten amongst 32 orders got right. When did get it after everyone else was served, was cold and not what they described as Philly steak. Don’t usually write reviews, but I feel this one was warranted.

We discovered that the sink in our room did not drain. This made it quite difficult for my husband to shave and for me to do pretty much anything at night as well as in the morning. When we talked to the front desk person upon leaving, he said he would take some money off of our room. After three separate charges for the full price of the room on our credit card and multiple fraud alerts from our bank, the entire bill was taken off of our card to which we thought was very kind considering they knew we were not happy with our room. Three days later, there was yet another charge to our credit card for the room and it did not reflect the refund/discount we were promised for the inconvenience.

Well, for one of the most expensive places to stay in town, you are simply pay for a view of the lake. If you get one. The rest of the property is dated. Older look and feel. The TV's in the room aren't WIFI capable, so no streaming or casting. Parking is difficult and quite the walk if you don't get there early enough. The elevators are hidden behind doors and are bit of an experience. Overall, I expected more from a place that was twice as much as other rooms in town.
