The property was nice, right by the water in the fjord. The breakfast was nice. We booked a family room and it was a little tight but did the job. We used the canoe boat in the fjord- it was free for guests. Overall the hotel was a little pricey but good.

Loved the view, the historic nature of the property and the staff, but the check in lady should have stated we could drop off luggage at the same level as our room instead of lugging it upstairs. The wifi was slow and not able to handle the guests. Additionally with no wifi and only 4 channels on tv, it was truly a place to unplug. Ended up taking computer to Chinese resturant across the treet to check on our house

Very nice and classy hotel with a history (est 1912) - super clean, great view from the window (pool and fiord), very friendly staff. You can use hotel row boats and/or bikes, jump into fiord from hotel private dock, swim in heated pool. Walkable distance to couple of restaurants and shops. Breakfast was delicious. This hotel stay was a highlight of our trip - I highly recommend it

Hotel was lovely. It kept its historical charm both inside and out of the main building. The rooms for 3 people to share were tight quarters. Room got quite warm with 3 people so we left the room door open, as we were in the garden rooms facing the fijord. Town and surrounding areas were beautiful/scenic. Took an ebike ride along the fjord, we were able to rent at the reception desk of the hotel. Walked to a few great restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend and stay again
