A special place with real heart I stayed at the wonderful Hotel 158 from May 7th to 10th and absolutely loved it. It’s centrally located, with a creative, artistic vibe—there was even an exhibition happening while I was there, which made the place feel alive and unique. The staff were incredibly kind—Tomas was calm and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble for him including all the taxis I ordered. Maria, whom I only met once, left a handwritten note and a book for me on my last day as an early birthday gift. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really touched me. This hotel has real soul with it being decorated with paintings from local artists. I left feeling truly seen and cared for. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Mark N

Actually is as quite reasonable .except the breakfast was very poor. All dishes and the coffee were cold. Not impressed.range of food offered not as good as Moxy hotel. Hotel is very well poitioned. Free waljing tour did not turn up. SOFIA is a beautiful city. Pleanty of police around. But you needat least 4 or 5 days. The downstairs bar was brilliant. Not cheap

Overall, this is a standard hotel but the way the person at the counter did everything possible to make me feel welcome was astonishing. The hotel itself has been recently refreshed and it looks clean and new but none of the activities were attractive to me on Easter bank holiday.

All was fine. The hotel seems new, the room was large (studio). Well equipped with a nice bath. It was all perfectly clean. The staff is helpful and friendly. Value for money is top. This will be my new pad to stay when I‘m in Sofia.

Lovely hotel and very friendly and helpful staff. The music, and live music in the bar was very interesting (I really enjoyed it as I am from Ireland). Only very minor downside was that it was a little noisy. Music from the bar and noise from other guests was evident when I retired for the night.

Art Hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff is extremely attentive, helpful, and friendly. There is a parking lot nearby, but it would be better if they partnered with a specific parking facility to offer reasonable parking rates. There were no hotel slippers in my room— a small but important detail. As a result, it is a hotel where I would definitely want to stay again on my future visits to Sofia. I highly recommend it to everyone.

A great boutique hotel

I was in Sofia for pleasure and very much enjoyed my stay. The hotel is conveniently located and it is clear they spent a lot of money completely rebuilding it. The photos on the walls of the property before show this. Quite incredible. All was very good. My only constructive feedback would be that there were no instructions in English how to use the safe. It turned out I needed a key that should’ve been given to me when I checked in. I also think if you’re there 4 nights as I was that the coffee and water should be replenished.

The Hotel is in the town center, close to the main square. There is shopping around the hotel, but it is very quiet because it is on a side street. We did not get the upgrades promised by Expedia. We were pledged to breakfast and a bottle of wine, but we had to pay extra for everything. Regardless of that, the hotel is a great choice for a budget.
