Smiths Lake
For those wanting to enjoy still waters instead of the open ocean, Smiths Lake is the number one choice in the Pacific Palms area. Shrouded by a lush littoral forest and neatly separated from the sea by Sandbar Beach, this is a family favourite for those eager to enjoy a spot of water-skiing, boating, paddling or windsurfing (the open lake waters making for a windsurfer’s dream!). With an impressive catchment area spanning 32 square kilometers and waterways of 11 square kilometres you can enjoy all the benefits of this unique, tucked-away calm waterway. However, should you feel a pull for the waves, the picturesque Cellito Beach can be accessed via a boardwalk at the northern end of Sandbar Beach.

This property is clean and nicely decorated BUT it's very uncomfortable. The main bedroom does not have a bed! The mattress is on the floor!No proper lounge is provided (see photo)The bath only half fills. (See photo)We cut our stay short.We called the agents at Pacific Palms twice and sent an email on their request, but we are STILL waiting for any reply!
This is not a proper lounge! It's a wooden bench with some pillows that fall through the gap at the back, which is straight, upright and uncomfortable!
The ad states this property has a bath, but this sign in the bathroom indicates the bath can only half fill. This might be ok if you intend to bath small kids but does not serve a purpose for adult users.

No facilities

There were no laundry facilities The bedrooms are too hot. A minimum would be ceiling fans over the bed Couch is very uncomfortable. You don't have to publish this if you don't want to but please take some action about the laundry. Even just a small shed down stairs with a dryer.
