Komarna stay on our 3 week Croatia trip
The owners Mirela and Goran were very nice and helpful before and during our stay. There communication was very good on all accounts. They were waiting for us at the property for check in and gave us a good walk through. Getting to the property was easy from the airport in Split. The little town of Komarna was a wonderful location to use for all our various day trips we took during our time at the property.
The property is very much the same as all the pictures. The patio's and decks were very comfortable and spacious. The pool and hot tub were a bit cooler than we were comfortable with but it was early June so that happens. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable. I personally slept extra good on those mattress. Everyone was pleased with the accommodations. The kitchen fit most our needs, though we had a small issue with locking the cooktop controls before we figured them out. Not much in town but we did have a good meal our first night down at the beach front restaurant. There is also a nearby winery called Terra Madre that has incredible views and good wine. Location wise Komarna was perfect for our day trips down to Dubrovnik, Ston and Mali Ston, ferry to Mljet, Peljesac to Korcula ferry, Mostar Bosnia, and a boat rental day. Only complaint was some construction noise from nearby new home builds and that we needed to buy our own beach mats, towels and chairs. But we loved the property and location, we would go back and rent again. Thanks Mirele and Goran
