Go to a B & B instead

Unfortunate “renovation” of lovely old building took all the charm and character and trashed it for artificial surfaces, ugly bland furnishings, and tiny cell-like rooms. Do hotels really get stars for having a pool table or a shiny plastic chandelier? Sad. Front desk staffed by cheerful young woman, which was the only saving grace of an empty town and depressing hotel.

Fick ett bedrövligt rum. Fick gå en lång korridor, sedan långt ner i källaren, 2 tr ned. Rummet var mycket litet och duschrummet kallt och inte renoverat. Dessutom avloppslukt. Personalen på hotellet var trevlig och hotellet i övrigt fint och gemytligt. Frukosten spartansk. Saknade en hel del.
