This facility is tired and has seen better days. The description was misleading. Even with airport shuttle this was not very close or convenient. Shuttle ride was 40 minutes with limited hours. Early shuttle doesn’t depart until 8:00 AM. Staff were professional.

I reserved 1 room with two twin beds but upon check in the staff said there is no room with 2 twin beds and upgrade would cost SGD $70. I showed him my reservation which clearly says two twin beds. All of the sudden, there is a room with two twin beds available!!!! Be aware!

The room was okay, but tired. The staff could have been better. Rather slow during check-in even though I checked in online. The whole hotel needs a refresh. Unfortunately, you do not have a decent restaurant where the prices are not way too expensive. The bar area should have a standard limited menu that is available during the day. If it did, then perhaps you would have more than one person in there during prime time.

I particularly appreciated the friendly help of the front desk staff, especially that of the manager Sufian. The primary strength of Village Hotel Changi was the way in which the staff and provided guide helped me experience good local foods and activities.

Cleanliness and condition of the room were above expectations. Lighting controls were confusing and frustrating including a closet light that would not turn off. NO HOT WATER was the most outstanding issue.

Room was clean and quiet but does need an upgrade. Staff were courteous, need more lounge chairs around upper pool area, two beers out of the tap $30.00 wayyyyyy to expensive. having a free shuttle bus to the airport was a nice touch.

Clean and easy check in. i messaged beforehand about our anniversary and wife's birthday, requesting a romantic decoration and didn't happen. we went for 3 weeks holidays around Asia and stayed in various hotels, this was the only one did not decorate for us. also no sound insulation between walls, next room people woke us up 4am by clicking lights switches and using toilet, sounded as loud like it was inside our own room. very noisy.

Room is big and was clean. Rain head shower was great but you have to step into a high tub. 15 to 20 minutes from airport. There are restaurants and convenience store within walking distance.

According to the booking time, we were told that check in was at 2pm. Upon our arrival at the hotel, the room was not ready and we were asked to wait until 2.45pm before the rooms could be ready. We were not offered any form of compensation for this inconvenience. The service used to be top notch when I previously stayed at the hotel but things must’ve changed. It does not have the same charm/attraction as it did before.
