Smelly and messy Words cannot convey the lack of care that this hotel has for its guests. A great environmental initiative is filtered water to each room, no plastic bottles. However the flasks to drink from were not washed for my entire 6 day stay. The corridors were like a garbage tip from 8am til 8 pm. Bags of dirty linen and sacks of garbage there for the entire day. Pics attached And the worst was the stench of paint the permeated mine ( and other guests rooms) from painting the stairwells. About 2am I felt so poisoned that I had to change rooms. I bought these issued up again at checkout. No manager or even assistant manager on duty to deal with these issues. It sends a message that they just don’t care. I will give the lady who checked me in credit, one bright light. All went down hill pretty fast after that. Best avoided

Staff was excellent. Room was small but nicely updated and very well equipped. Mini bar items/snacks were complimentary, and complimentary ice cream was available during limited hours in the afternoons - a nice touch in hot and sticky Singapore! Rooftop pool was small but very pleasant. Location is across the street from a metro station (easy access to the rest of the city), a small park, and a large shopping complex.

Convenient location close to Dhoby Ghaut MRT, comfortable and clean room and free ice cream everyday! Special mention to Shirlyn who gave us a complimentary room upgrade and allowed us to check in early. I appreciated this kind geature as i was travelling with a young child and we were tired after a 12 hour flight from Europe to Singapore.

The hotel location was just perfect. We were able to commute easily & the plaza (or mall) was less than 5 minutes away. The bonus part was that they had 090 Mart store.

Worth the stay

Great location, welcoming and kind staff. Nothing to complain. Close to metro station, shopping centrez, ya kun kaya toast, newton food centre. If you're a tourist, you'll like it.

This hotel is in a great location and within a close walking distance to Dhoby Ghaut MRT. The room was clean with complimentary drinks in the mini fridge and snacks. There’s iron and ironing board in the room so you don’t need to ask if you need it. Also, there are two water bottles to take during your stay and you can find a filtered water tap for drinking. I’m so pleased staying at this hotel, definitely recommended for solo travel. I feel safe and absolutely convenient to go anywhere from this hotel alone. There are local cafe and budget restaurant just next to the hotel, if you just want to have a very cheap local food. From Changi airport I took a taxi (Grab) and spent SGD 34. When I went back to the airport, the hotel staff kindly helped me to get a taxi and from the hotel to Changi airport I paid about SGD 28. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly, especially Shaun, he kindly helped me weighing my luggage. Thank you so much, Shaun!

Rooms unclean and woke up with insect bites every

The first room #320 given to me did not look clean and at my first night I did not sleep well because of bed bugs. And woke up with insect bites. I reported that and they moved me to a different room. Bigger room #301, looks cleaner, but still woke up with insect bites every morning. I reported it. And when I checked out, the receptionist said that my first room #320, after investigation, there were no insects, even after I showed them my insects bites. I felt bad for implicitly she said I made it up. I'll never book in this hotel ever.
