We had a great welcome when we arrived. The view from our room of the castle was stunning both in the sunshine and when lit at night. Room comfortable, enjoyable swim in the pool and great breakfast. Nothing to fault.

Lovely hotel in Silves

Loved this hotel it was situated in a perfect location overlooking the castle. Fantastic choice of breakfast on the terrace or inside. Room was great, lots of hot water and storage. The swimming pool area was spotless and pool cleaned every morning, lots of sun beds and areas to sit. Small bar with nice staff. Silves is a small beautiful village and this hotel is perfect choice for a 2-3 days. Thoroughly recommended.

We had mixed feelings about our stay at this hotel. On one hand it has a beautiful exterior with great views of the town and the castle, the pool area is well maintained, parking is easy to find, AC in the rooms were functioning well, and the staff were responsive to our needs. On the other hand the rooms were outdated and generally look old, I know it's part of the general look of the hotel but small touches here and there would do wonders, also basic things like a mini fridge or an electric kettle were absent. Breakfast was ok, it had all the basics you can expect but definitely nothing to brag about. They were also doing some renovations in the kitchen area so some noises throughout the day are to be expected. Overall I'd recommend this hotel but mainly for where it is, the town is beautiful and quaint and very walkable. The hotel is ok and convenient but having been to many hotels, I'd hesitate to list it as a 3 star hotel.

Nice basic hotel for few nights

Basic hotel with nice staff. Had a great stay. Would like to see some veg options at breakfast but overall would stay again as was excellent value for money

Amazing view of the city. Beautiful grounds and well maintained pools. Nice lobby and dining area. Rooms are worn/dated and could use updating. Decent buffet breakfast included in our rate. Doing some sort of upgrade to halls and rooms as there were wires hanging out of the room ceilings and some hall walls. I suspect a smoke alarm system? Did not effect visit at all; did not hear any construction noise.

the 3rd bed provided by hotel is terrible, very uncomfortable, too hard. The blanket is thin, not warm, which got me a stomachache at midnight, and vomitted due to the cold. and I waited for long time for checkout since nobody at the front desk. bad service.
