This was an excellent value for the $. Very contemporary and clean place. The room was quiet and very comfortable. Front desk staff were attentive and friendly. When I booked the room, I did not realize that this is a hostel with no private bathroom. But the mixed-gender bathroom was clean and had private showers and toilets. Never had to share the bathroom with other visitors during our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
Very nice place to stay. Our double bedroom was really small but the commun areas were nice to hang around. The hostel is in the middle of the trees, i recommand !
First time stay—Have to say it is very unique—it is like an upscale hip youth hostel. I got the last room available for a J-Rad concert in Dillon. It was a private room—not in the communal dormitory area of the hotel. The room had 6 individual sleeping pods!
I’ve never seen a hotel room like this one. Very clean and industrial modern. The sleeping pods were very comfortable (The pillows are nice—but for myself they seemed extra “puffy”—almost like it had a large pumped up air chamber in the middle of it—just different) The built in bunk bed style beds are definitely not made for couples that want to sleep with their partner. There are 6 large lockers for guests in the room. The separate Living area of the room is minuscule—definitely not made for comfortable hanging out—but the communal large Public areas are very nice. There is not a TV or hotel phone in the room. Most different than any hotel I’ve ever stayed at is that all bathrooms in the place are large mixed gender communal areas. There are separate gender restrooms, but the sink/mirror areas and the showers are all located in a large space (the showers & dressing areas are individual private “pods”)
Overall this hotel is a great concept. It isn’t designed as a regular hotel, which usually focus on private comfort—for most who want to retreat and enjoy their room. It is a comfortable place to sleep with nice common areas. It is located in a great location to all ski areas—perfect for groups of friends or families
Met our needs and appreciated being close to Dillon Amphitheater for concert. All amenities needed. A tight fit yet reasonable having private bath.
I'd stay again
Really cool place to stay! There is a really nice backyard with games and picnic tables and a beautiful walking path along the river where people were fly fishing. You can walk over the bridge to the brewery and several food spots. I stayed in a dorm room - wish the bunk beds weren't connected and the door not as heavy because they made some noise, but it was very clean and well set up. There is a kitchen where you can keep your own stuff, and there was a cool bar area with music both nights I stayed. I would definitely come back.
