Wonderful stay in this quaint thatched Inn. Modernised rooms and wonderful ensuite with large bath and shower over, due to the property being burnt down early in the 2000s. Traditional wooden beamed bar and restaurant with exceptionally conscientious staff. Full English breakfast using locally sourced produce and a thoroughly enjoyable stay for the two of us

The place has a new manager from the day we arrived so not had any chance to improve things yet. The staff were friendly and good at their jobs. Could be a fab place. Just needs an update especially the rooms. Very tired.

Blue Ball Inn Sidmouth.

The hotel is a very old coaching inn, full of character, and very well maintained. It is well situated for both Sidmouth and the Donkey Sanctuary. The room had a lovely bed, in a fair sized room. The en-suite was very nicely appointed. Our room was facing the road so there was some traffic noise. The food was excellent and the staff were all really attentive and provided a great service. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Blue Ball Inn, Sidmouth.

Really nice Inn with good quality accommodation and easy parking. Food was great and staff friendly. Only thing that let it down for us was the constant hum of the ventilation system during the night.

Lovely local Inn. Rustic and comfortable. Very helpful staff at check-in and at bar. Good bathroom, and shower. Bed was a bit tired but still comfortable. Rooms overlook major road, but traffic is light throughout the evening. Convenient free parking.
