Great little get away

Weve been going up there for many years. We like to stay at Days Inn. The beds are a little small but comfortable. The free breakfast is always amazing. The only problem there is they are so busy that we had to wait almost an hour for it to come out of the kitchen. We were warned by the staff so we were prepared. It was worth the wait. The staff were very friendly & helpful.

Our room did not look like the pictures, but for a low cost last minute booking for something just to sleep one night in, you get what you get haha First off, the check in staff was GREAT. Our room was a bit dingy, BUT the bed was comfortable & the tv was great. The shower pressure was just, straight up, not good, and the drain must’ve been plugged as well. I informed the staff of the drain & they were QUICK to take notes on everything I said. OVERALL! I’d come to sleep but shower at the next place haha

The only complaint was in regards to the room I had. It smelled of pet urine which was masked by carpet cleaner. This smell intensified as my stay was extended. I ended up buying/burning a scented candle to cover the odor.

I asked for a bottom floor because of my elderly dog. Not only did they refuse bottom floor they gave me these stairs that my dog had to walk on. Her feet hurt after 2 1/2 days. I hope she doesn't have to go to the vet. Even the housekeepers felt bad when they saw her walking the sharp stairs. I saw that another part of the hotel had smooth stairs. Why. They just didn't care.

This was a great place to stop with our family. A nice 3ft pool for the kids and a nice restaurant for hot breakfast. Convient and easy check in and check out process. Would stay again!
