Spoetzl Haus, Historic Cottage 4 blocks from Spoetzl Brewery

The Spoetzl Haus was originally located at the Spoetzl Brewery. It was one of the original structures at the brewery and was home to Kosmos Spoetzl's daughter. Over the years it also served as storage for wooden kegs, a gift shop, and the welcome center to the brewery. It is conveniently located 4 blocks from the brewery and is easy walking distance to every downtown destination and all the restaurants in Shiner. There is plenty of room on both the front and back porches to sit and relax. There is also a party barn on the property that is available for use.

Just right!

Wonderful stay, clean and cozy property just right for three friends meeting in the middle to visit. We would stay here again, and loved seeing touches of the town in the house as we visited and saw the table was from the Amish furniture store. Also highly recommend the Shiner Coffee House! Nicely updated cottage

We were just visiting for one night, but we were impressed with the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage. It was in a quiet location (other than a few chickens), and it was walking distance to the steakhouse where we had an awesome chicken fried steak dinner. It was also very conveniently located to the brewery which has great BBQ and beer. My only wish would be to have a swing or rocker on the front porch, but that’s not a dealbreaker. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Shiner!
