Experience waterfront living at its best with this ground floor condo at Shawnigan Beach Resort! Easy access to the sandy beach and a beautifully landscaped 6-acre waterfront property makes this place exceptional.

The open living, dining, and kitchen areas, along with a queen-sized master bedroom and a windowless twin-bunk room, cozy fireplace and covered deck make a great getaway. In-suite laundry included! Our family just bought this property, and we'd like to share it with you.

Enjoy stunning water views from the private covered patio, perfect for entertaining or quiet moments in the sun. This resort retreat includes a family-friendly indoor pool and sauna (summer only, perfect for cooler days), boat moorage, a fishing dock, expansive lawns with a volleyball net, frisbee golf / practice golf course and a recently rebuilt kids playground area, as well as a recently refinished sports court. The private sandy beach boasts a protected swimming area, water trampoline (new in 2022) and swim platform with slide.

No smoking is permitted anywhere on the resort property. Resort bylaws do not allow renters to bring pets.

The surrounding area offers many activities to enjoy. While it can be hard to leave the lake, we always enjoy visiting or biking at the spectacular Kinsol Trestle (free, pictured here), family hikes at Mount Baldy and Tzouhalem, visiting the Malahat Skywalk and exploring the Cobble Hill, Duncan and Cowichan Bay communities. Located just 45 minutes from Victoria, seize the opportunity to create lasting family memories at the lake.

The property was great. The bunk room was smaller than expected.The host was great, took care of all our questions promptly.The only thing wrong was with the VRBO app when we tried to check in it kept saying they were having problems at their end and try again. This went on for 30 min or more. We had to share info to another device and then finally got the check in info. Very frustrating.

Lovely week at the lake

Great location. Ground level was perfect for active teens. Being so close to Victoria our son's friends were able to come up for day visits. The unit is at the front of the buildings for easy access to the beach, playground (for Littles) and volleyball. We didn't use the other amenities ( pool, sauna, disc golf and pitch and putt) but they looked great! The ping pong and foosball tables were fun! The unit has a mini kureg and ample kitchen ware. There's a beer fridge and bbq on the patio. You will want to pack spices, oils etc (every place is different depending on who has stayed and left stuff). I believe it's a new owner so the accruements are minimal. The bunk room is cozy but comfortable. The neighbours are very friendly. You will not regret booking this place. Enjoy the lake!!
