Everything as advertised and even better. I don't even know where to start: * The building is directly attached to a metro station and a shopping mall with a food court * Right downstairs you have an Aldi supermarket * Area is safe and quiet. * Lisa and Samuel are extremely helpful, going out of their way to assist and explain. * All amenities, wifi, kitchen, great views, all as expected. Won't hesitate to stay here again!

Leleju Botique Apartment The good! - Incredibly friendly, helpful and accommodating host (Samuel who was there to receive us at midnight as our plane delayed 2 hours & Lisa) - ⁠right next to Line 8, Anshan Xincun station - ⁠right next to small mall with supermarket, restaurants and coffee joints - ⁠walking distance to another mall and convenience stores - ⁠direct access food court (B1) - ⁠nice sized fridge with plates and cutlery - ⁠really good air conditioning system - ⁠washer dryer 2 in 1 To take note of - Toilet bidet wasn’t working for us - ⁠need to really balance the usage of hot water (it was ok for us as only the kids showered with hot water while we adults used cold water - ⁠water pressure dropped drastically at certain hour (believe it’s related to peak hours when more residents in the building was using the shower at the same time) - ⁠mattress was so-so for me, could feel the spring at some angles (2 out of the 3 beds had a extra topper on top)

My recent stay at Leleju boutique apartment in Shanghai was exceptional. The care Sam & Lisa provided me was also exceptional from checking in to showing me how to use the washer & dryer (Yes they have a washer & dryer in the apartment). The apartment was very clean with a nice view of the tall buildings at the Bund. Furthermore, you do not have to leave the building to gain access to the metro. Prior to my departure, Lisa got me a gift as a show of appreciation. I was very touched by her gesture. I will definitely recommend this place. I look forward to staying here once again when I come back to Shanghai, Sam & Lisa, thank you very much for everything. It was a great experience. David

Initially, we chose this place mainly because of the availability of laundry machine inside the room. It turned out it is a rather convenient location. It is in a residential building and there are a Metro station (line 8) and a shopping mall connected to the building. There are a variety of local restaurants and shops in the mall. This gave us the opportunity to experience the local life/culture. We could get to many popular tourist spots within a 30 mins metro ride. Also, Samuel and Lisa (our hosts) are very nice, helpful and sweet.

We loved this place. Big enough for a family of 4 and modern/clean. The check-in was easy once you realize you are in a high rise attached to a mall. With tons of food options, an Aldi, and other stores at your doorstep, it is extremely convenient. To get around, you have the metro 8 line that connects on level B1…which is also super convenient. There is also a beautiful park a block away…don’t miss that. When we checked in, Samuel was there to greet us, show us inside and answer any questions. There was also some welcome fruit in the fridge. Will definitely stay here again when we return.

Leleju Apartment is conveniently located with B1 directly connected to Line 8’s Anshan Xincun subway station (open from 10 AM to 10 PM). It takes only 1–2 minutes to reach the station from the unit, and most places in Shanghai are accessible within 30–45 minutes by subway. The building is quiet, clean, and well maintained. An insulated glass door separates the B1 food court from the residential area, minimizing noise and ensuring privacy. There are several popular restaurants within a 2-minute walk, such as Suxiaoliu and Xiaoyang Shengjian. A nearby supermarket offers fresh fruits and beverages. Our one-bedroom unit was spacious compared to typical hotel rooms and well equipped with a full-sized fridge, stove, washer, microwave, and high-quality slippers. The staff were friendly and responsive, reachable by phone or WeChat. Note: Leleju’s reception is on the 5th floor, separate from the main lobby.

Lisa and Samuel were gracious hosts. Transportation was arranged, and the driver arrived right on time to pick my husband and me up later that day. After a long flight, I needed medication for a cold. Samuel walked me to a pharmacy where he explained to the pharmacist what I needed. Additional cooking utensils were required and were promptly brought over. Access to the train station through the basement was excellent! The location was 20 to 30 minutes from all the attractions we wanted to see and do. We would definitely stay there again when in Shanghai.

The hosts Lisa, CiCi and Samuel are the friendliest persons ever countered 👍 Arranged airport transfer pick-up via them upon arrival as we came with the kids and had few huge luggage bags with us. Upon arrival, Samuel was there for a meet-n-greet and he led us to the apt and brief us on the introductory for Shanghai. Check-in was there at the apt and it was easy breezy. The area was very very convenient as the metro station 鞍山新村 was right beneath the apt and accessible via B1 level. Shanghai public transport is definitely a well-connected network that will bring u to ur destination of interest, coupled with 大众点评 and Amap apps usage. Disneyland, Bund and Nanjing walking street is a must-go when visiting Shanghai. If u have time, go outwards to the outer 外环 areas to experience a more local feel. Overall, the family vacay stay at Shanghai was a pleasure especially when u know there was a clean n kept accom to come home at the end of a tiring outing.

This property is the perfect stay in Shanghai ! Lisa and Samuel were wonderful hosts and made my stay very comfortable. There is a metro station next door and there is a food court downstairs. It’s a very convenient location. The place itself is very clean and has a washing machine. WiFi and AC is very good and the shower is fantastic. The view from the room is excellent and access is safe and secure. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back ! Thank you guy for a great stay in an amazing city !!!

Convenient, Comfortable, and Welcoming

We had a great stay at this apartment! The location is super convenient — Anshan Xincun Station is right below the building, making it an ideal base for exploring Shanghai. This was our first time visiting China, so being able to message Lisa on WeChat before and during our trip was incredibly reassuring. It was so helpful to have an actual person to ask questions, especially when you’re visiting a new country and don’t speak the language. Lisa was always quick to respond, and Samuel also provided some great local tips that made our stay even better. Everyone we interacted with was very kind and accommodating, which really helped us feel welcome. There’s a lovely bakery nearby that sells the most delicious tarts — a must-try! We also enjoyed the food court downstairs, which offers a wide variety of tasty meals at very reasonable prices. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable, and cool — the air conditioning was excellent, especially after a warm day out exploring. Having a washer/dryer was another huge plus. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Shanghai!

Great communication and service. They go above and beyond. The apartment is clean and pretty much has everything you need - would’ve been nice if there were able to provide some basic ingredients like soy sauce, cooking oil, salt and sugar. But not important as there are plenty of options close by - new ones opening soon. Very convenient location as it’s a short walk from the metro. Nearby are a couple of hair salons and most importantly 2 large supermarkets and a convenience shop. Highly recommended
