This was my 6th hotel in a row, it was the 2nd cheapest (1/3 the price of some) and far and away the best. Don't let the exterior fool you, they kept the old rt66 look outside, but the inside of the rooms are clean and modern. Great bed, great shower, wifi was a little spotty but functional, didn't try the breakfast but I poked my head in and it looked/smelled pretty good, quiet location. And the town is a time capsule of abandoned or repurposed old school rt66 buildings. Awesome place, and great staff, worth every penny.

Cable TV did not work, screen was snowy, but I don't even own a TV at home, so that is not personally an issue for me. I know it might be for others, however. Wifi did not work. Just did not work. Generally a huge problem for me, but this was just 1 night, and otherwise the motel was fantastic.

Overall the property was what one would expect for a $50 a night motel. The property I would guess was likely built in the 1950’s or 60’s and the first in so many years that you had a physical key to open the door. The room was adequate, clean, and fairly quiet considering it’s age. Manager/owner was nice and dealt with an issue with the tv quickly. Met my needs as a place to sleep while traveling.

Wonderful Stay

Manager called to find out estimated time of arrival and had the room nice and cool for us. Very friendly and helpful in dining options. Even though it is an older hotel it was clean and comfortable.

The room was super clean and well appointed, especially for the price. The bed was very comfortable for a great sleep. Excellent Wi-Fi and TV. Breakfast was very nice. My only recommendation would be to update the door locks.
