Peaceful place to spend a family holiday or a relaxing weekend away from the stresses of everyday life, with a very friendly atmosphere, where the aromas, colors and sound of nature attracts us, soothes us, lets reflect, fills us.

Just 15 minutes' walk from Cabreia Waterfall and 30m from the Braçal mine ruins.

It is the ideal place where you can recharge and enjoy a unique contact with nature.
In the municipality of Sever do Vouga you can also visit several places of interest: River Beach of Vouga River, Santiago Bridge, Church and Pillory of Sever do Vouga, Village Park, Bike Path, etc. On weekends there are usually shows or musical or theatrical.

Amazing stay at 'Quinta da Costeira'. Private house, full kitchen has everything we needed to cook our meals. Our family was able to fry rice, boil pastas and roast potatoes easily.We enjoyed the pool everyday and every night. Watching the stars and swimming was amazing. First time we ever experienced shooting stars light up the evening skies.Hosts - Paul, Amelia and Fernando offer a warm welcome. Upon arrival we were given a freshly baked lemon scented caked (Tastes better than STARBUCKS!) and a bottle of Port Wine. Highly recommended, private and beautiful mountain and river.

A wonderful relaxing week!

This is a lovely rustic property with a beautiful outdoor area including plenty of seating areas and an adequate sized pool. A car is needed. The owners were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to meet us late at night as our flight was delayed. We really appreciated the cake and port - thank you!

Charming hosts. Beautiful property.

Quinta de Costeira is in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed our evenings watching the setting sun from the terrace. The house is well equipped and had everything you need. There were even fresh flowers from the gardens when we arrived. The hosts were wonderfully helpful and welcoming yet left us alone to enjoy our holiday. I would definitely visit again.

Quinta da Costeira - Amazing

We had a wunderful time in Quinta da Costeira. The house is very lovely renovated. The waterfall nearby is one of Portugal's most amazing ones. The landlord and his family are very kind and thoughtful. The garden is full of exotic fruit which make the air smell wonderful. The pool is very refreshing.

Great House for relaxing holidays

We enjoyed a lot our stay at Quinta da Costeira! Fernando welcomed us very friendly and informed us about all relevant details about the house and gave us some great tips for trips all around. The house is very lovely decorated and is furnished with all necessary equipment for great vacations. We enjoyed a lot the barbecue outside and the pool was very refreshing (very cold water, spring water) and so beautifull! Three different walking paths starting next to the house which are leading to a wonderfull waterfall. Also the coast isn´t that far away, about 30 minutes to drive with a car (which is recommandable). All in all we had great holidays and would come anytime again to Quinta da Costeira! Obregado Fernando!

Elke avond fantastische zonsondergang!

4 Dagen in deze quinta is een aanrader voor wie in het achterland wil verblijven en toch dicht bij zee en mooie steden wil zijn.Wij hadden een heel fijn verblijf. Aardige, gastvrije eigenaar, interessante originele ruimte waar vroeger de druiven werden gestampt en de wijn werd gemaakt. In het dorp kan je dagelijks verse broodjes halen. In café Pinto hebben we een lekker diner gehad. We hebben een prachtige wandeling vanuit het huisje gemaakt PR 3.2/ 3.3 naar de waterval. Ook hebben we 2 x heel mooi gewandeld in het ruige Serra da Feira/ Murejal. Het touren door het achterland vonden wij een belevenis. Gezellige dorpjes, aardige, gastvrije, behulpzame mensen!! Een aanrader voor ieder die van rust en ruimte houdt!

Einfach ausspannen!

Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig und es fällt leicht, den Alltag hinter sich zu lassen und sich zu entspannen. Fernando und seine Familie haben uns sehr freundlich empfangen und zur Begrüßung sogar selbstgemachte Kekse auf den Küchentisch gestellt. Alles in allem klare 5 Sterne.

Ein wundervolles Haus, mit allem was man braucht.

Wir haben zwei Wochen in dem schönen Steinhaus von Fernando verbracht, es war wirklich toll. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Wir hatten dort alles was man braucht. Das Haus steht mitten in einem kleinen Berg und man hört außer der kleinen Straße fast nichts. Sehr gut zum entspannen, wir konnten außerdem direkt vom Haus los wandern, die Wanderwege sind dort wirklich toll. Wir fanden den Pool nicht zu kalt bie 30 Grad war er eine willkommende Abkühlung und immer voll mit frischen Quellwasser und ohne Chlor. Fernado und seine Familie sind super freundlich und geben sich sehr viel Mühe den Aufenthalt im Haus so schön wie möglich zu gestalten. Sie haben uns eine Mappe mit allen Aktivitäten erstellt die wir in Sever do Vouga und Umgebung machen können. Außerdem haben sie uns super Tipps gegeben und waren immer sehr hilfsbreit. Einfach tolle Menschen. Wir waren durchweg sehr zufrieden mit unserem Urlaub, vielleicht wichtig zu wissen ist, das man auf jeden Fall ein Auto benötigt, ohne geht es dort nicht, die Wege zum Einkauften etc. sind zu weit. Aber das ist halt so wenn man etwas abseits wohnen möchte, uns hat es nicht gestört. Nach Porto fährt man 1 Stunde, nach Lissbon 2,5 Stunden, nach Aveiro und zum Strand 40 Minuten. Wir würden wieder hin fahren, das einzige was noch besser sein könnten wären die Betten, es sind Federkern Matrazen, wir sind leider sehr verwöhnt was Betten angeht. Aber das liegt mehr an uns, denke ich. Wir können es nur jedem empfehlen hier Urlaub zu machen!

Great place in a quiet spot and wonderful hosts

The Quinta Costreira provides all you need in a very nice and cosy setup. The house has all that'S needed to spend a good break with a wonderful teraase for the BBQ andan interior that gives you right away the feeling of being home. The owners are very warm and welcoming hosts that give all kinds of recommendaiton and respond very quickly to issues, in case of any. I would definetyl come again.

Ein schönes Häuschen im Landesstil

Das Haus wurde mit viel Liebe ins Detail gestaltet und mit portugisischem Charme eingerichtet. Leider hat der Pool keine Sonne abbekommen, so dass dieser zu kalt zur Nutzung war, dafür entschädigte das Bad unter dem Wasserfall in Hausnähe. Wir danken den lieben Vermietern für die tollen Auszugstipps. Das Restaurant Quinta do Barco ist absolut empfehlenswert.

La quinta costeira est une maison très agréable, tout le confort pour passer de très bonnes vacances, la nature, la montagne. Mais attention point faible la piscine naturelle à l'eau de source des montagnes un peu trop froide pour être utilisée (point de vue tout à fait personnel). Merci pour l'accueil et la disponibilité des propriétaires, le ménage en milieu de séjour est un plus.

Les propriétaires nous ont chaleureusement accueillis, la maison est très agréable, vue dégagée sur la campagne, arbres fruitiers,transat,barbecue..De nombreuses balades à proximité avec de belles cascades dont une accessible à 15mn de marche. Heerlijk verblijf op een fantastische plek

Het huis is prachtig gelegen met een mooi uitzicht op het dal. Het is groot met vele terrassen waardoor je altijd zon of schaduw kunt vinden. Gunstig gelegen om uitstapjes te maken naar Aveiro of bijvoorbeeld Porto. De eigenaar, Fernando, is erg sympathiek en behulpzaam. Wij komen hier graag nog eens terug.
