Summary:
Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment on famous Seven Mile Beach! Fully equipped kitchen, including a separate washer and dryer, wine fridge and new furnishings. The details in this lovely space will make sure that you feel at home. A spacious open plan living and dining area (and a private screened-in balcony with table/chairs) make it easy to enjoy meals relaxing with friends/family inside or outside! Resort offers 2 swimming pools, a tennis court and kids playground!
The Space:
A 2nd floor (top) modern apartment with a garden/pool view. The master bedroom is complete with a comfortable king bed, all cotton linens, fully fitted wardrobe and ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The second bedroom has two new comfy twin beds that can be fitted together to be a queen (upon request), and a fully renovated 2nd bathroom with walk in shower. We offer our guests soaps and shampoo/conditioner for their stay, in case you forgot yours!
The kitchen has a huge fridge with ice maker, stove, microwave and even a wine fridge. The kitchen has all of the basics as well as some nice extras such as a Keurig coffee maker as well as a drip coffee machine, sets of red wine, white wine and champagne glasses, and cocktail shaker to name just a few - so everything you need to make meals or simply fix and pour cold drinks after a busy day exploring, sunbathing, diving or swimming in the ocean!
There is cable TV in the living room and, of course, complimentary internet access. The living area has a comfortable sofa which can open to a queen bed and a spacious dining area making it easy to enjoy meals inside (table extends and easily sits 6+).
Guest Access:
The apartment has its own separate entrance. The resort's friendly front office, which is staffed 9am-5pm weekdays and 9am-9pm on Saturday, available if you are in need of any assistance. Additionally, when the office is closed you will typically see a helpful and friendly security guard onsite. Inside the apartment, there is also our welcome book with emergency contacts, resort details, local information on local bars and restaurants and other necessities.
The resort has two huge freshwater swimming pools with outdoor showers to rinse off, one in the centre of the complex (and in view from the balcony and master bedroom) and one on the beach front where you can relax all day. The complex also has a lighted tennis court, a small playground, two outdoor BBQs for grilling up your favorite meals, complimentary bicycles and also kayaks and paddle boards for use in the ocean. (visit the front office to sign up for use of the equipment)
The Neighborhood:
Perfectly situated in the heart of Seven Mile Beach Area, Plantation Village is close to popular bars and restaurants at the southern part of Seven Mile Beach. Here you are a short 5-10 minute stroll away from the gorgeous white sands of Seven Mile Beach. Enjoy the turquoise blue waters, warm sands and stunning sunsets.
Getting Around:
The local buses (minivans) run frequently along West Bay Road, just in front of the resort in case you decide not to rent a car and want to head to town or explore! Taxi's are also easy to call and arrange.
The easiest way to get around island is to rent a car - and there is ample free parking outside of the apartment.
Other Things to Note:
This apartment is located on the second floor and you will need to climb a flight of stairs to access the condo.
Please note that the beach size changes with seasonal weather, however stairs from the pool deck offer easy access to swimming in the sea directly in front of Plantation Village, and this oceanfront property never disappoints. Taking a stroll north on the main road to access a sandier beachfront is a simple way to explore and experience the area.
