The property is steps away from everything, like restaurants, the market and not to mention an Olive Young store. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room is a bit smaller than expected, but overall it was a good stay and experience.

The location is perfect for enjoying Seoul cause it is in the middle of Myung-Dong. It was very quiet so that we were able to relax at night. Staffs are kind and considerate. I enjoyed free coffee in the morning. I appreciate considerate and kind service. I will definitely book this hotel again whenever visiting Korea.

Homey feel. Nice desk staff. Comfy. Great common area for eating, water, coffee, sink and some basic dishes. In suite purified hot/cold water is great. Little gritty entry, but what can you do. Rooms are high up, higher levels in this office complex, shielded from noise.

Shopping is very convenient and transportation is easy too. Lots of street food few steps away from the hotel and lots of good find restaurants. The staff are nice, specially Jun, who catered all our needs and responded quickly. He even had us checked in early when we told him Our flight was at 2am and did not get enough sleep and that we are very tired from our travel. The room was small but clean and the bed was really comfy and soft. Would definitely stay here again next time :)

Great Location in the Heart of Myeongdong – 4/5 The Stay Hue is in an excellent location—right in the middle of what I think is the best part of Seoul for tourists. Myeongdong is packed with great shops, restaurants, bars, karaoke spots, and fun things to do. (Think: Shinjuku in Tokyo, Broadway in Nashville, or Greenwich Village in NYC.) The rooms are small, which is typical for Korea and Japan, but very clean and well-maintained. It’s important to note that this is not a full-service hotel—it occupies a single floor within a mixed-use building. That said, the value and location are hard to beat. Some thoughtful touches include free coffee in the lobby, reasonably priced laundry service, and my favorite feature: each room has a water machine that dispenses filtered ice-cold water. The subway is just a short walk away, and the lively night market is literally right outside the entrance. In short, if you’re looking for a clean, affordable place in a vibrant area and don’t need amenities like room service, a gym, pool, or concierge, The Stay Hue is a solid choice. I’m giving it 4/5 stars—only because Expedia didn’t make it clear that this wasn’t a traditional hotel.
