Staff were friendly and welcoming. When we were sick on our departure day they allowed us to stay in the room for a small fee (very reasonable) this was honestly the best part and helped substantially. Housekeeping were lovely and the room was always clean upon our return from a day adventuring

My partner and I booked the hotel vila Lumbung through the wotif app as a deal. We were welcomed and treated like family the entire time we were there. The staff are beautiful warm and genuinely enjoy working there and nothing was ever to much trouble. The room was beautiful the ground were beautiful. Being in the center of busy Seminyak we were pleasantly surprised at how peaceful and quiet it was. It was like a little oasis. We are already looking forward to going back again. If you’re after a lovely peaceful friendly place to stay then I recommend hotel Vila Lumbung 100%

This once loved and favorite hotel has aged ungracefully. In dire need of a huge makeover, or demolition. The bedding is rock hard, stained and threadbare. The pool is flatout dangerous with broken tiles everywhere, literally slicing toes left, right and centre. The water itself felt itchy and cloudy. The gardens are unkept ponds just manky with sad looking fish struggling to breathe. The staff look just as tired, and worn out as the hotel. We ledt after 1 night of a 5 nigjt stay and sought greener pastures.

The property is obviously aging, we had a aircon which was making a horrible noise and throwing ice, I took a video and showed reception but nothing happened, by the end it was leaking all over the floor. I felt this was poor form on the properties behelf. The room was small compared to the pictures on wotif made it out to be, there was no veranda etc. our Villa shared the spa. The internet isn’t very good, it worked but not fast and dropped out a bit. The pool was large and We spent a day enjoying it and they had a pool bar which was good. Breakfast is average, they cook eggs how you like etc. Easy to get transport, was close to some of wrong places, laundry down the road, plenty of night clubs within short walk.

It's a really nice place to stay for a few days. Little, beautiful and quite retreat in the middle of the busy Seminyak. The whole villa has a very good vibe. We really liked the poolbar. 😊 The breakfast options were really good and very delicious.

We really loved the resort, BEAUTIFUL rooms, air con and good pools, and great location. However what really let it down was the poor wifi, we couldn’t even receive messages to communicate to each other in the resort, had to turn on our international roaming as it got so bad, which I’ve never done before. It’s really a shame cos they have modems in the rooms, I just don’t understand why the wifi is so weak.

The staff were lovely, the gardens are pretty and well maintained, but were disappointed with our room. We booked a Deluxe Lumbung because we wanted a room with a bath (an outdoor shower would have been lovely too), unfortunately our Deluxe Lumbung didn't have either. The basin and shower didn't drain properly, and the shower smelled of urine. The room was dark and unlike the pictures. We spent our first day in the resort by the pool but then my partner became ill with Bali belly that evening. We still enjoyed our stay as much as we could but I would hesitate to book here again

A bit average to be honest. Aircon was warm and the bathroom was as hot as outside and full of mosquitoes, who would want to have a bath in that? Loud music by the pool all afternoon, though the pool was nice. Service was ok but not as good as the other 7 places we stayed in the prior 4: weeks.
