I did not like anything about this stay. I had 2 rooms that were supposed to be "partial lake views" which I was fine with but we were put in rooms with views of the parking garage gate and the lobby. Our rooms were both handy capped rooms with amenities to match. Both of the bathroom doors were barn style that did not latch and barley covered the opening with zero privacy.
They charged an additional $100 deposit per room after I put my cc on file. I was not provided a receipt of the transaction when I paid the deposit or when I checked out after I asked repeatedly. I checked out on the 15th of March and I have still not received my deposits back. I called the hotel several times and all the would tell me was to call my bank, which I did on the 21st, and they demanded to know when I called if I did at all. Then they told me to tell my bank to call them so they could generate a letter to my bank saying the funds have been released. They would not let me talk to anybody higher than an assistant manager. Would not provide me with a supervisor or any cooperate contact.
Bottom line was customer service was horrible, rooms were gross and not appropriate for our stay. Not to mention we had to pay for parking at the hotel we were staying which is a first for me. When I asked them why we had to pay to park at the place where we were staying they said that every hotel charges for parking which is untrue.
I will never stay at another Hampton or Hilton and will not recommend them?
