Would I stay here again? YES! Without hesitation! It's inexpensive, and does the job just like any name-brand hotel would. The only thing that you need to be aware of is there is at least one flight of stairs that you have to go up. Possibly two or three flights, depending on your room location. It's 3 floors. I loved that laundry and detergent were free and available. You share the kitchen with others, but that's no big deal. I was never with anyone else in the kitchen. It's not crowded. I ran into only 3 people and they were super-friendly. This is in a residential neighborhood, so there's no real parking available. Seattle is a hilly city, so if you're walking, be prepared. Every time that I contacted the owner, I had an immediate answer. All-in-all, very positive experience here.

I thought it was very nice that the property owners were tentative in checking in on me! Especially with it not being a “hotel” necessarily, the open communication was very nice and the little write up about the area on the informational site they have was helpful and cute as well. The only issue I had was that there are two transit stops close by, and not being from Seattle I was a little surprised when I saw wild flights of stairs with my luggage. I only had a carry on but after a day of travel I wasn’t anticipating a hike! Google maps certainly didn’t elude to it either but overall the area was safe and very beautiful.

The kitchen was very dirty. The knives in the knife block on the counterhad dried up food on them, the countertops had food stains on them, and there was one tiny cutting board. The bedroom was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The owner/contact was very nice and helpful.

This property was affordable for a place to stay. I think it could have been a little more clear that it was a shared kitchen facility, but maybe I just missed that in the listing? I checked in to several properties on this trip and found this one by far had the most hoops to jump through. Verifying with selfie pictures and licence, then a room cleaning charge. Arrived late at night and couldnt get in with the final approval still not completed (something to do with a foreign mastercard). Lots of headache. Also EXPECT NO PARKING. You will walk several blocks. Bedroom was clean as was the ensuite bathroom it came with. Small fridge and sink in the room with a microwave as well. A common area with a couch and kitchen facilities available. Decent price, but it doesn't list the cleaning fee, and all the administration to actually get in. Not sure I would stay again with the obstacles encountered. Not sure all of that was even necessary.

My new home away from home

I was in love the minute I walked in the space was beautiful well kept and my room was flawless. The Back to the Future thing was so cute and very memorable since I'm from the '80s as well. Vince took great care with this property and I absolutely loved it

The host was great and responded quickly to any questions I had. The room was clean, as well as the common spaces, they were clean and comfortable. The house is right across from a bus stop, which was super convenient since I used public transport during my stay, and it was only a 5-10 min ride either direction to get to restaurants or shops or downtown. Overall, I would highly recommend this property to anyone who is wanting to visit Seattle!

It was a good place to stay for a decent price. About a 15-20 minute bus ride down to the city with a bus stop across the street. Host was very quick when answering messages or questions. My only complaint would be that the floors were a little dirty and could’ve been cleaned better before arrival. It is a very small unit perfect for 1-2 people.

Don’t stay here if you’re disabled at all

The property is a shared space. You will share the living area and kitchen. You have to walk up 2 flights of stairs to get to your room. There is no parking at the property. You’ll have to park many blocks away or pay to park about a .5-1 mile away. If you have health conditions please don’t book here. I was unaware of the above situations and did not stay one night there. I was unable to make it up the flights of stairs. I let the person know this and was still unable to get a refund or even a partial refund.
