This property will be gorgeous when construction is complete. We had a confirmed check in time of 12 pm. The front desk girl argued with me said it was based on availability. I showed her the message stating it was confirmed then she threatened to cancel our reservation. We didn’t get to check in until 4. The front desk is lousy customer service. They are hardly at the front desk always had to wait for someone to show up.

The ocean view from our room was spectacular. Although the building was under renovation it was safe and our room was great. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub and beach walks daily!

Important to state the Hotel is going through exterior upgrades around the property with equipment, scaffolding and materials with half the hotel closed off for the upgrades. This was not a problem with our stay and no complaints from this. Rooms were adequate but dated and will no doubt also upgraded soon. Excellent location overlooking the ocean with the roundabout view and close to restaurants, shopping and beach areas.

The hotel was under construction and that was fine. The construction crew was actually probably the friendliest crew I’ve ever met.. The check-in process was smooth. The lady who checked me in was very friendly.. I got to my room and it was quite chilly. Turned on the heat let it run for a while. Noticed it wasn’t really warming up my room. Turned it up to 80. let it run and still didn’t really warm up my room. Later when it was time to go to sleep around 10 PM I noticed the windows rattling because it was breezy outside.. there was cold air coming from somewhere outside. It was also making a noise that was very evident that wind was coming in from outside. Possibly from the windows upstairs that were not completely framed in. The main door was also whistling because it was not sealed, and the wind was making the door whistle.I got to listen to this all night. My room in the room next to me had a connecting door that was not solid to the ground so there was a gap which allowed me to listen to my neighbors conversations and they were up until 4 AM in and out of their room, slamming their door. I looked for a phone to call the office to make a complaint. There wasn’t one. The next morning I went to the office to make my complaint. They offered no help. The lady told me that she was also cold in her own home last night. And confirmed that there is no room phone. They expect people to go outside down to the office to make a complaint . I chose not to stay my second night.

Well, we knew the hotel was under this renovation but no working fireplace television kept going out very hard to turn the shower on no jets in the hot tub. Must’ve been broken. Very disappointed in that daytime desk check-in person very rude nighttime person Michaele very helpful no maid service wasn’t sure the sheets on the bed were clean in the first place. They seemed wrinkled beds, very uncomfortable constantly waking up moving side to side from pain. We got very little sleep. Needless to say we did appreciate the large kitchen in the room.

The rail on the deck should be higher, you could only see the whole ocean standing up, not sitting rail obstructed view. The fireplace didnt work. The heat was constant even though set at 55 room was too warm. They entry key didnt work got red about 5 or 6 swipes then it would turn green.
