I stayed in a loft room. The sunsets were amazing. The giant picture window was like a work of art come to life. They were doing construction, which was annoying. But that means they are not just letting the place rot. The value was great. I enjoyed the direct connection to the restaurant. I would stay here again. But I would get a balcony room, which I assume would have their fire places working again. Which another guest told me they were down during construction.

Check in was slow. They charge you $35. To check in early. Even if it’s just 10 minutes early. Also me and my son were waiting in the lobby to check in for 40 minutes. They saw us there, but somehow they check in 5 people before us. Even though we were there way before then. Besides that, the whole place is under construction and the roof is leaking and the construction goes on until evening.

The whole hotel is under construction so it just doesn't have a very nice feel to it. The ceiling is not very sound proof so you can hear everyone above you. The beach view would be great if their windows were cleaner but the window is very foggy. Also their fireplaces were out of order during our stay. It was a really good price, now I have a better idea of why.

Very unfortunate interaction with the young blonde at the front desk. Unprofessional, attitude and argued with guests. I usually check out at the front desk, but when I went down there today, I saw it was her there so I just kept walking.

Great view of ocean from room, it is right in front of hotel. Hotel needs to check out elevator alarm system. I was stuck in elevator Thursday when power went out. The alarm was very weak, people waiting for elv. in lobby said they heard a soft ringing, and nobody responded to the emergency call button. I wasn’t worried, but I would have liked someone to let me know they new I was there.

I have stayed at this place several times. I usually come here three or four times a year & stay a week. This definitely was the worst experience that I’ve ever had. I understand that they are under construction, and I also understand that the weather was pretty bad and out of their control. I think that they did the best if they could, and we were without Internet for over 24 hours, and without any kind of TV connection for about three days. We asked for any kind of accommodations, or some sort of free meal, and we were basically told no. The manager is extremely nice and friendly. Unfortunately, his young female staff that works the front desk, the blonde, is extremely rude and extremely unprofessional. She argued with me for about an hour that the Internet was working. Finally, I went down there, and she had someone go look at it and found In fact the Internet was not working. She proceeded to stand there and roll her eyes at me and acting like I was wasting her time. The worst experience that I’ve ever had there. The room itself was extremely dirty, I was walking on the carpet, and there was a wet sticky spot on the first day, so we just covered it and didn’t walk on it. The bathroom was a disaster, it was a rough stay. But I have to be completely honest, that the only terrible experience that will stay with me, was a disrespect that we got from the young blonde girl in the front desk. I would assume that the general manager expects better from his staff.

The staff was the best part of our stay. Ive never seen more courteous staff at any hotel Ive stayed at. They deserve 5 stars on their own. The environment is about 2 maybe 3. As it states they are under construction. Its a 5 star in the making. We couldnt use our fireplace because of the construction. It is indeed pretty LOUD during the day. Our ice machine didnt work on our floor. Im sure they have a working one there maybe. I decided not to ask. The beds are very comfortable and the room was clean. Mos the restaurant next-door amazing. It was a great stay over all. Yes id stay again.
