Our 'Library' Suite is at the heart of Sawcliffe Manor's Grade II listed architecture. If you'd like a slice of history, and you're a book-worm who loves a view, this is the prefect room for you!

• Your Room •

Large bedroom with a rare antique Thonet bed, antique furniture, vast book collection and sweeping countryside views.

• Bathroom •

The ensuite bathroom, located up a small set of stairs, has a freestanding bath with views towards the Lincolnshire wolds and a separate shower room.

• The Manor •

Sawcliffe Manor dates back to the Middle Ages. It's a beautiful example of heritage architecture and has a large walled garden. Located on a farm, with a 400 acre nature reserve on it, it’s also home to our very popular natural spa facilities and an archery range.

• Booking our Natural Spa: Hot Tubs, Saunas •

Our natural spa facilities (which is where the hot tubs & saunas on our listing are located) are extremely popular with our guests, and located a 30 second walk from the Manor.

We have sessions available to pre-book at 11am, 2pm, 3pm and 6pm. All of our spa sessions are available for private use, so they are not shared with other guests. To add spa access onto your booking, let or team know or use your Guest App.

• Food & Drink •

• Self-checkin Guest App Access •

Our apartment is self checkin. To assist you with your arrival and checkin, we'll send you a URL link to our Guest App immediately after your booking. You can use our Guest App to find out useful information about the property, local recommendations, to add the Sauna to your stay and to access the property.

• Online Checkin •

All guests are asked to complete a short online checkin prior to receiving access to the property. You will also be asked to read and sign our rental agreement, submit a copy of your ID and submit a refundable security deposit.

• Availability & Checkin •

You can arrive at your leisure from 4pm onwards. Self-check-in is available for all guests and we'll send you the access codes on the morning of your checkin via a custom built Guest App (we'll send you a URL link).

• Provided •

Your room comes equipped with bedding, fresh cotton peshtemal towels, tea, coffee, mini-bar fridge with snacks/drinks for purchase and a Netflix TV.

• Dogs & Families •

We are a family and dog friendly establishment (as is our spa). A double sofa-bed will be added for 3-4 guests and a travel cot for families.

• Parking •

We have free parking available on our farm for up to 3 cars and 6 bicycles.

• Gift Shop •

We have a small gift shop on the farm where you can buy drinks, snacks and cosmetics for our natural spa. We also have a selection lovely handcrafted gifts from all over the UK and Europe. Come and have a nosey!

• Getting in touch with us •

Our Guest App also has a chat and whatsap function so that you can ask us anything and phone us anytime (even when we are on the fields with our sheep). We're also available on the phone, but we cannot take any payments over the phone, on-site or in cash. All payments are handled online.

• Extending your stay: Early Checkins/Late Checkouts •

To make the most of your stay, we recommend booking a private spa session before your checkin, at 2pm, or after your checkout time, at 11am. This is a lovely way to extend your stay by 2 hours, especially if you're with us for one night.

• Private Spa Sessions •

Our spa is is 100% natural, using wood-fire and fresh-water, it's a uniquely beautiful spa experience.

Don't worry, if you're travelling with children, infants, pregnancies or dogs, we offer spa variations, adapted for your needs, so that you can enjoy the spa together.

→ Cleopatra Milk & Flower Hot Tub Ritual, 2 hours:

Available at 11am or 2pm, this spa session takes us 2.5 hours to prepare, and includes our famous milk & flower hot tub. It can be adapted to vegan, pregnancy, child, infant, and dog friendly variations. We recommend it for romantic getaways or small groups.

→ Twilight Natural Spa Experience, 3 hours:

Our 'Twilight Natural Spa' session, is a fabulous experience for those wanting to push the boat out. This private spa session takes us 7.5 hours to prepare for guests to enjoy, but it's worth every minute of effort. It includes the private use of all of our natural spa facilities, including our spectacular Estonian iglu-sauna, and sunset hot-tub views over the countryside. We can be adapt this spa session to vegan, child (9+ years old) and dog friendly variations. We recommend it for special occasions or large groups.

We offer a selection of delicious breakfast, afternoon tea, grazing domes and 3 course evening meal hampers you can add to your stay.

Delivered directly to the Manor's kitchen so that you can enjoy them at your leisure using our lovely warm AGA and kitchen area, we can offer, Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and lactose free variations. To book, just let us know, or book via your Guest App.

Inspired by our farm location, this breakfast is perfect for those wanting to feel at home in the Manor's kitchen in the morning.

Pricing: £15/guest.

Designed for birthdays, and anniversaries, this breakfast is loaded full of foodie goodies and is perfect for those wanting to surprise a special someone.

→ 3 Course Evening Meal Hamper

Yummy pies and creamy chocolate fondants, we've even sourced a delicious Great Taste Award winning cheese selection from Mary's cows at Cote Hill Farm (2km from Sawcliffe). Perfect for after a long drive, or a spa session.

Pricing: £35/guest, minimum 2 guests.
Timings: 5.30pm delivery (ready for oven).

→ Afternoon Tea Hamper & Decorations

Available to book a 'surprise' at checkin, our afternoon tea includes cream cakes and all sorts of delicious treats. We'll even include vintage tea-ware and a few surprises of our own.

Timings: 12 noon-4pm

Perfect as a light after spa treat, or something to look forward to after a long drive. Tuck into tapas, local cheeses, dips and goodies.

• Booking Archery & Axe Throwing •

We have an archery and axe throwing range on the farm. Lessons are subject to the availability of Reg, our bush-craft teacher. We recommend booking in as early as you can to avoid disappointment.

Archery lesson: £30/guest, minimum 4 guests, or £120 for 1-4 guests.
Bonfire & axe throwing evening: £35/guest, minimum 4 guests, or £140 for 1-4 guests.

• Getting to us •

Less than 2 hours from Manchester, 1 hour from Sheffield, and 40 mins from Hull, Sawcliffe Manor is the perfect escape for guests looking for a unique countryside getaway. It is also a 10 min taxi journey from the local train station in Scunthorpe with easy connections across the country including London & Newcastle.

• Refundable Security Deposit •

As we have mini-bars and items for sale, guests are required to preauthorise a £95 security deposit via a credit or debit card 24 hours before checkin. This preauthorisation will be managed using the Guest App that will be sent to you immediately after booking. It will be automatically be returned to you 2-4 days after checkout.

• Why do we hold a Security Deposit? •

Unfortunately, we have been victims of large scale theft in the past. As a result, we are now required by our insurers to hold security deposits with guests. Don't worry, the reasonable and normal use of the property will not result in any additional charges.

• What is the Security Deposit used for? •

Unpaid mini-bar consumption, unpaid extra guests, unpaid dog fees, unexpected additional cleaning (including, but not limited to bodily fluids) and the extremely unlikely event of property damage or theft.
