This hotel is right in the beautiful downtown area, walking distance to a nice square, the performing arts centre and the river, with its great walking path. It is right across from the old town hall and the police station, so you don't have any concerns about walking. The parking lot is large and free. Breakfast is an expansive buffet. Our room was comfortable with a fridge and microwave. The common areas and restaurant feel a bit dated and tired. The man who checked us in is condescending and should not be customer-facing, but the woman who checked us out was very pleasant.

When I first checked in, there was no batteries in the remote so you overlook a little thing like that and then the toilet was backed up so I went to the front desk and they wanted to give me the plunger to do it so I told him no maintenance came up. They plunged it Five minutes later the toilet still didn’t work I complained and they said to me there’s nothing they can do at the front desk final. I spoke to a woman from housekeeping and she helped me thank God there’s a front desk to that sarcasm.

Let US Down This Time

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and always have been extremely pleased. This time, unfortunately our room had an odor of some sort which was unpleasant. Also the toilet was not cleaned properly as it had feces on the seat.

Hotel room window was broken leaking cold air the bathroom door handle was about to fall off and the fridge wouldn’t keep things cold whole hallway of the none smoking rooms on the floor I was on always smelled like weeds

Great room&staff, could be greener, rubber duckie

Everything fine with the room. Everyone was friendly... painters doing the hallways, front desk person who asked how breakfast was as i passed by, cook/server at breakfast who offered to make fresh omelet to order and brought it to the table. Only 3 stars on eco, as Styrofoam or plastic cups were provided for bathroom, juice and breakfast (though coffee mugs were right nearby and could be used so that helps), and i think for in room coffee too. Rubber duckie was a happy addition to see, but did not avail self thereof.

The staff at this property are particularly friendly and helpful. We have been here before and Chris is always on point. Mike and Simone are always personable. The Chef makes HOMEMADE breakfast that is unmatched in my hotel travels.
