One block from the Barren River Lake & public marina. 2 bedrooms, living room featuring 12-ft ceilings, this retreat combines modern comforts with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Unwind by the electric fireplace or gather around the fire pit for unforgettable evenings. You`re only 5 min. from Barren River State Park, 30 min. from Mammoth Cave, 30 min. from Bowling Green/Corvette Museum & Western Kentucky University. Plus, Nashville is just 1 hour 10 minutes away, making for an ideal day trip.

This is a duplex (think two townhomes next to each other) so it feels more like a single family home built in 2024. Each place is about 1,000 sq. ft. The main floor is a gorgeous open floor concept that has a full kitchen, 65` tv, electric fireplace and covered deck on the back. The main bedroom in on the second floor and although it`s narrow there is also a sitting bench and area to hang and fold your clothing. The second bedroom is more like a loft that has a queen bed. There is no door but it is separate and private from the other areas.
Make yourself comfortable in this air-conditioned vacation home, which features a fireplace and a Smart TV. There's a private patio. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected.

Peaceful paradise. What a beautiful property! The hosts left no stone unturned in this immaculate VRBO. Quiet, comfortable and clean. My husband and I spent three days prior in Tennessee looking for places to relocate. We came to explore the Barron River Lake area for the same reason. This property allowed us to relax at the end of our long days on the road. We cannot say enough about this Woodside Retreat. Look no further, we recommend you stay here. You will not be disappointed.

Weather uncooperative

Trip had to be refunded due to severe storm the night before arrival. Was able to partially access outside of the property before deciding to refund. Tree limbs blocked entrance to vrbo and driveway. Storm knocked power out for entirety of weekend. Very nice location. All communications with owner and VRBO refunding was quick and easy.. Will try to rebook in future.

This property is practically brand new. Very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Our senior pup was even welcome which made the trip even more enjoyable. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for a wonderful stay Jon and Colleen.
