Lovely wilderness lodge, staff were wonderful. Food was the highlight - dinner and breakfast were exceptional! The only let down was the facilities which the property knows. It is aged and is in need of a renovation. Also there isn’t too much to do around the property, offering free activities for guests would be great especially for the price you pay per night. Having normal bikes over e-bikes for free would be great as $99 for 4 hours seems excessive and there should be the option to hire per hour. Overall lovely experience.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Staff were very attentive, professional and friendly. The cabin was outdated and cold even with split AC heater. We loved David’s welcoming.
The facility is fantastic, and we are thoroughly impressed by the privacy and tranquility. The lounge is impeccably maintained, with a clean, inviting, and well-lit environment. The breakfast is particularly noteworthy, and we wish we could stay in the lounge longer!
Beautiful property set within the national park. Very close to some good walks in Freycinet NP. Property was clean and tidy. The breakfast was very good as well. Customer service was very good as well. I will definitely return.
enjoyed our stay, especially wine glass bay lunch cruise organised for us by Abby.
need to decent tea/coffee mugs in room and aEnglish Breakfast tea bags, was also difficult to fill kettle as had to use spa bath tap. kettle wouldn't fit under sink tap
Brilliant stay, staff amazing especially David and the reception staff. Views that will linger for many years.
Only negative the seafood platter for dinner was not what I was expecting….and $$$.
I stayed Saturday night 15th March. Checked in 1355hrs, the staff member looked at my reservation and told me I'd booked through another company in a derogatory way then informed me my room wasn't ready.
Checked Bay restaurant menu and prices. Made reservation. At restaurant menu prices were different to website. Asked waiter why different? He replied that it's been like that for a while nobody's corrected it. Told him it was false advertising. Left and went to Richardsons restaurant. Service was extremely poor there. Difficult to get served. Food was very average. Wait staff need learn how to smile. They were very surly.
Definitely wont be recommending or staying there again.

Liked: Staff & service, room comfort
It is a bit stressful to know there might be tiger snakes around. Maybe they should put traps to try to catch them and release them further away from guest cabins.also the heating system seems to have dirty filters because when turned on, there was strong mildew smell. Have to then turn it off.
For an expensive hotel, I do expect the room to have been updated not so out dated.
