The Space:
Whispering Willows, a single-storey lodge consists of open-plan living space including a kitchen with a gas oven and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge freezer, washer/dryer, a dining area, and a sitting area with an electric fire and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite bath, and twin, plus a shower room. Outside, there is an enclosed wraparound decking area with furniture and ample off-road parking. Pet-friendly. Shop 0.2 miles, pub 0.1 miles, beach 0.5 miles. Sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels included in the price. Whispering Willows makes an excellent base for a seaside getaway to North Yorkshire. Note: There are steps up to property. Use of on site facilities - extra charges apply; passes can be bought at reception. Site facilities are not available between beginning of December to end of February, however other features are available. Note: Shop and pub are on-site.
The Neighborhood:
Cayton Bay is a coastal town resting in North Yorkshire. The town offers a local convenience store for all of your holiday essentials, as well as a pub, and a delightful sandy beach where you can walk along the coast, take in the seaside air, or try out watersports. At the town of Cayton you will find a greater variety of pubs, eateries, or you can head over to Filey, where animal lovers can explore Filey Animal Park. Scarborough is a must visit, featuring harborside walks, arcades, a museum featuring fossils from along the coast, and an art gallery. Scarborough also boasts an impressive castle, and walks to stunning coastal walks heading towards Hyburn Wyke waterfall and beyond. The town is also within reach of the stunning scenery of the North York Moors National Park, an ideal spot to hike, mountain bike, and birdwatch.
