Had bad experience this time around waited 20 minutes just to check coz there’s only one staff member running accommodations do he’s never been in the building when ever I needed help there was no only one electrical socket far away from the bed no internet toilet is 2 floors down absolutely ridiculous and also noise from other guests to mention but a few

Very poor, unclean and a rude member of staff checked us in..... Full of immigrants.... Weve stayed many times but it must of changed hands because it used to be okay

Lack of staff, had to ring for someone to bring the key, the photo your site displays is completely different to the room we stayed in . Tea and coffee were ok but no milk or spoon 😔 no bath mat, no mattress protector.

Check in was talking to a door bell in reception.. room was clean no complaints… walls are thin and it’s possible to hear people talking in the next room … location is good Overall it has its plus side and it’s minus side

Great value for money. Obviously the building is a bit dated but it's what you'd expect for the price. I've stayed in more expensive hostels that were not as clean etc. This room was clean. People said on other reviews said about the walls being thin which is true if there's loud people in so basically like any hotel. The first night we didn't hear a thing and there were people on both sides of us and didn't hear a thing but second night there was just someone on 1 side and they were just common, gobby scumbags so obviously you would hear them but you're always going to get that especially when prices are so affordable. Hopefully people like that don't ruin the affordability as that's when places put prices up to stop attracting scum but for us it has been a life saver as we had been struggling money wise recently and didn't think we'd be able to go away anywhere for a while but this place made it doable with their prices and it certainly was a decent place to put your head down. Location was excellent.

Really friendly Turkish staff member who doesn’t speak much English I am partially deaf and have arthritis in my hands as no information was sent prior to arrival that entry was by key box but after using Google translate the Turkish staff member gave me assistance because of my hands and deafness. There are cameras all around the property linked to the internet which is weird and scary. The room is like a can of beans it does what it says on the tin for the price . Clean simple comfortable room which is close to Scarborough castle at a cheap price . A little more tlc and this place could be excellent value for a place to stay

Wall's have blood left on them from the homeless drug users that stay here and very high chance you will get hiv or aids toilet's don't work
