The hotel was conveniently located. Just a 1/2 mile from the City Market, ans across the street from the riverfront walking area. The old town trolley stop 10 is 2 short blocks away. The breakfast is good and fresh. The hotel personal are all very friendly and helpful . We stayed in a basic room , it was comfortable. I do wish there was a second chair for sitting. Be aware if you get a room facing Bay St. You have some trade offs. It can be loud with street traffic, but it's a lovely view.

We had a wonderful time here. Walked the district, eat, drank, and had a good stay at the hotel. My only issue was that Holiday Inn did not give me my points for staying there citing it was at a discount. At over $350 for one night is not a discount. I will pursue this matter with IHG. But overall, the hotel staff were great, the breakfast in the morning was better than other IHG locations, and the rooms were comfortable.
