They definitely lack southern charm & hospitality. We arrived earlier for check in. We asked if they would hold our luggage and the response was, "I don't think we have room" They said they would call us when room was ready but never did. After check in I went back to front desk and asked for the 2 bottles of water That we not given to us at check in and the girls response was, " I gave them to you yesterday" I said "no you didn't since we just arrived today." She huffed but got me the water. The following evening when we returned from being out all day, I called the front dest to say that our room was never cleaned. The response I got this time was,"If you read the sign on the bathroom mirror we clean every other day, You can come and get clean towels." There were many incidents, from talking to other guests they were not pleased either with the staff. I should have written the names down of the staff but didn't. One that I do remember was Beverly. These women clearly do not like their job and should definitely be in another industry. Having said that, I don't believe Hampton Inn will be a choice for us in the future

Great location, all of the employees were pleasant. Breakfast was what I expected the typical continental breakfast. We chose to park in the public garage across the street from the hotel and saved a lot of money and didn't have any problems. Pool area didn't have enough seating but was a nice feature. Would recommend.

Clean and perfect location

Hotel was clean and staff were very friendly!! You do have to pay to valet, but that’s with most hotels in Savannah due to no parking! Breakfast was good and lady at concierge was helpful! Great location and within walking distance to a lot of the restaurants and shops!

Perfect location to walk River Street, historic Squares and get ice cream at famous Leopold’s! Beds were comfortable. Decent breakfast. Awesome view from the little rooftop pool! Very nice staff. The only real complaints are if you have a room facing Bay/River Street, the traffic can be loud at night. Valet only parking is expensive but to be expected.

Check in staff was amazing. Our shower had no shower gel but we had soap with us already. Everything’s in walking distance. If you don’t want to pay for valet, there is a public parking garage across the street.

Poor parking option. Breakfast was bad; strange colored “sausage “, powdered eggs. I would have expected better for that hotel. Probably wouldn’t return or recommend.
