Welcome to our second-level apartment at the Retro Rainbow Herb River Hideaway, just 8 miles from downtown Savannah! This recently updated 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom unit offers all the comforts of home and is a short walk to the dock for river access. Enjoy a scenic 30-minute drive to Tybee Island for a day at the beach. Our photos feature both professional shots and real-time images, so you know exactly what to expect. We'd love to host you!

When you arrive at our home you will be greeted with a set of stairs taking you to the upper level apartment. Once inside you will enter the living room with has a large flat screen TV complete with Roku and a queen size sleeper sofa. To you left will be 2 bedrooms, one has a queen bed the other a double/full. One of those bedrooms also has direct access to our large screened in deck (complete with another flat screen TV). The dining room is to your left of the entrance with is attached to a kitchen stocked with all your basic cooking needs. Towards the back of the house you will find a full bathroom as well as the 3rd bedroom which contains a king size bed. Large upper level covered deck with lots of seating is a great place to start or end your day! We offer 2 parking spots for our guests. 1 gravel driveway spot, with a extra area on the grass to the right of the hedge. For dock access, walk across the street. There is a little parking lot with a Patriot Family Homes sign between the condos and the orange duplex. By the water, there is a metal gate leading to a long double decker dock. Please fill out the dock waiver to receive the gate code. We have a community game area with a great deal of seating and a grill. It also consists of different games such as volleyball, corn hole, ladder toss, and more! Enjoy their amazing menu with a stunning view of the Herb River. NOTE: Please pardon our construction as our other unit is currently still undergoing renovations. Its nothing major and should not interfere with your stay. The lower unit will be up and running soon making this a great place for larger groups of family and friends!

I'd stay again if the price was less

Fine place to stay and good location, but they're charging a premium price for a less than average experience. It did not smell like animals and the AC worked very well. Food stepped on the dining room floor, bottles in the yard, and cigarette butts on the patio floor - they're clearly pocketing the cleaning fee that's being charged.

We were in town for my granddaughters first birthday and chose this place due to proximity to my daughters house. The house was fine for our purposes of just sleeping, although it could have been a bit cleaner. My main concern was this property management company has a cumbersome and invasive agreement process to include multiple extra forms and a mugshot of the renter holding up a photo ID. This is above and beyond what is required for VRBO by whom we are already vetted. Seems a bit much for what is a quite modest rental.

Staying in the Savannah area working on in market Arena with colleagues

The water system was horrible it was on a well. Went one day without water and it smells like rotten eggs. no water pressure. Also had to deal with fruit flies had to bring in an exterminator. The area though is very nice. I believe the unit is over price for what it’s worth.
