The hotel is very conveniently located. We stayed on the front side of the property so we could hear a lot of street noise over night. Our room was not cleaned or restocked during our visit. When we asked for clean towels on day 2 we were told none were available.

The hotel is in a great location close to both River walk area and City Market. We parked and walked all through out the historic district. Breakfast had a good selection. Beds were really comfortable. The not so great - off a really busy road, our door had a big gap at the bottom and so it was a little noisy. Double doors to the bathroom with the lightswitch on the outside, so if you are getting up in the middle of the night, it is noisy and bright. Parking - expensive, but that is the same with most downtown parking, lots are small and because of the busy road can be hard to get in and out. Overall - for the price and location, we would likely stay here again.

One of my worst stay ever in Savannah

Room was not ready when we arrived at 4pm.and had to wait about 1 hour before it was ready. The front desk employee at check-in was rude and dismissive. They placed us in a room next to the stairs so was kept awake until after 2 am with people going up and down the stairs. Had to pay for parking that was not disclosed at time of reservation. Breakfast was minimal and of poor quality.

Check in was great. Employees were all very helpful and extremely nice. The rest of the hotel left a lot to be desired. Exterior was not well kept and the room we were in was rather nasty. The interior of the room gets a ton of outdoor noise. The free breakfast was a little better than your average hotel breakfast so that was a plus. I’ve stayed in other hotels in the area that cost a few dollars more and those few dollars are money well spent.

Being able to walk around the area was nice. I would have liked more parking availability at the Best Western. Check in and check out was acceptable. We did not like the fact that an employee in the breakfast area continued to express the fact that someone left their trash on the table and the employee had to clean it up. With that being said, the trash cans were overflowing so it was difficult to put trash in the trash can. The employee was clearly not having a good day and continued to have an attitude with other guests as they came in and asked for items that were not stocked. One lady made a mess at the cereal station and told the employee that she made the mess and the employee continued to make comments about people not being able to pour cereal. The lady apologized as the employee continued to fuss. It was very uncomfortable to sit and listen to that while other guests were trying to have their breakfast.

Door to our room was flimsy and had huge gaps in closing. Barely stayed shut without having to engage safety lock. Bathroom doors didn’t close at all. And there was sand in the tub- not from us. Had to pay to Park, but parking limited

Everything was good except it was kind of loud where we were (121). We should have asked for a 2nd floor room. But it was St. Patrick’s Day, so it was expected. The breakfast area was cozy. The room was clean. The staff were very friendly. Thank you!

The location is excellent, one step to river walk and to the Savannah marketplace. But the hotel is old with some remodeling and the mattresses must be replaced, you sink on them, and the back pain is terrible. Breakfast is average, variety of offerings is ok but they seem to be from the day before, like biscuits and hash browns, they were terrible, at least the day I tried them. The attention is very nice, I have no complaints about the personnel, very helpful employees. Very noisy hotel but I don’t mind, about that.

Great location for walking everywhere around the historic district and along the river. Friendly staff and clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Good breakfast to start the day. We came back at the end of our trip elsewhere as we had really appreciated our first visit.

My daughter and I stayed one night at Best Western in the historic district. The room was clean for the most part. The front door was did not close firmly and shakes when touched. At bottom of the door is not sealed so the cold air comes into the room like escaping air conditioning. If you stand back you can see outside from the bottom of the door. I was told that parking was free today. I received a charge of $36.50 for one night of parking at the hotel. I pay less for that at the airport. I am disputing the charges and are now waiting for someone from the parking company that the hotel claims they have nothing to do with even though they told you to park on the property and scanned the QR code to ensure that your car was not towed. The hotel is very conveniently located and is in walking distance of everything that you will enjoy about Savannah. Lastly, if you’re a light sleeper like I am, this is not the hotel for you. You will not get any sleep with all the traffic passing on that main road on Bay Street in front of the hotel. I don’t think I got two hours of sleep. It was so noisy all night. If you’re in Savannah to party and get drunk and then fall into a coma for sleep, this is the place for you.

I always stay here every time I visit Savannah. It’s near to most of the dining areas and most of the tourisy spots. The staffs are pleasant and accommodating. They just have to change some of the food for the breakfast ‘coz I been eating the same thing every time. Lol! I like the green waffle tho, very much themed with St Patrick’s Day.
