The Sautee Inn was amazing. We enjoyed everything from the views, rooms, and the incredible food.
This was an incredible stay at a true bed and breakfast. The level of care and real southern hospitality was outstanding, we really felt at home. With the team of Rebecca, Deni, and Josh, you will feel so welcome.
The house is very cute, with a stunning view and a beautiful porch with seating to admire it. We spent a lot of time just relaxing and playing cards (they have a bunch of games to enjoy).
Not to mention, the absolutely delicious breakfasts, along with afternoon deserts. We stayed for 6 days and there was something different every day. Ask Deni for her biscuits!
We can’t wait to go back!
Such a lovely old house with TONS of antiques and interesting books on hand. The owner and her family were all delightful and have created a very comfortable place to relax while exploring North Georgia. The breakfast was delicious and big props to Melinda for using Cafe Bustelo in the coffee-maker! They also had Irish Breakfast Tea! The place was still wearing its Christmas finery and along with the 9(!) Christmas trees in the dining room there was a tree and decorations in every room. (There were THREE Santas in our bathroom!) The new owners are energetic and organized and run a top-notch operation. Super convenient location in the middle of many fun things and some lovely Appalachian mountain views. Give it a try, you'll love it.
Every aspect of visit was awesome !!!!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful from our balcony. Found it odd as the room was prepaid, that we were questioned at all about checking in as there was a set check-in time. Room was stuffy and fan was dirty and loud when turned on. Bed was too high. Ladybugs kept getting in the room.

The Sautee Inn was everything we expected and more! We loved the delicious breakfast and enjoyed the night time dessert so much. The room was perfect. We would definitely go back!
Rebecca welcomed me upon arrival and Deni Jean prepared an excellent breakfast for us each morning along with delicious treats in the afternoon with tea and or coffee. The Inn is clean, comfortable and quiet, which makes for a very relaxing stay.
This is a very charming historic inn that really has the feel of the period. The room was very well kept and the view of the mountains was spectacular. Rebecca (owner) was extremely helpful, super friendly and very accommodating. The kitchen staff of Deny and Josh made delicious breakfasts and desserts. They too were super friendly, helpful, and quick to help with suggestions for the area or places to dine. It was an absolute pleasure stay at this inn!
We stayed at The Sautee Inn over Labor Day weekend and had an amazing time. Rebecca, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. She’s a great host and clearly puts a lot of care into the experience. The house itself is beautiful, historic, and full of charm. It’s in a perfect spot too - close to Helen if you want to explore, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. Everything about the stay was easy and relaxing. Great location, great host, great vibes. We’re already talking about when we can go back!
Our stay at The Sautee Inn was absolutely lovely.
Rebecca takes care of you from the moment you walk in.
We visited for our anniversary and just happened to be the only visitors on the first night. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. First, she gave us a choice of rooms because of a VIP status we had but took us to almost every room and explained each one. She also had made us desserts and gave us a bottle of bubbly to celebrate!
The property is in pristine condition.
The next day, for breakfast, she made us egg soufflé, fresh sausage from her brother’s farm, a homemade berry smoothie, orange juice, coffee and cider.
The next morning we had a breakfast buffet with homemade French toast, bacon, fruit, grits and more. We enjoyed her cooking so much! And we even got to meet and talk with her parents during breakfast. Such a treat.
Overall, we would stay here again and again. Rebecca and her husband work hard to make you feel welcome and such friendly hosts.
We an an incredible experience. Breakfast was 5 star prepared fresh. We had a balcony with a mountain view. Excellent customer service. We will be back.
Rebecca was an excellent hostess. She reached out to me about our arrival and was very accommodating! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was hot. The breakfast was delicious-we would definitely come back again!
Bed was comfortable, food was excellent, views were gorgeous... bathroom was small, no desk in room, but plenty of other space where one could work with a laptop.

The breakfast and dessert was delicious! Rebecca was so nice and friendly making sure our stay was great. I would definitely recommend the place and I am sure to return!
Breath taking views of the mountains and well maintained grounds. Breakfast is phenomenal matched only by the hosts hospitality! Close enough to Helen but far enough for a quiet getaway. We will definitely be back!
Not only was this B&B in an absolutely beautiful location the owners went above and beyond to make our stay over the top. Our breakfast was gourmet and delicious! We hope to make a longer visit in the near future!
