There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. Class, convenient, spectacular views of the water, particularly from our room. Highly recommended but you are in California by the water and prices will reflect that.

We stayed in the bigger cottage since we had 3 people and needed an extra bed (pull out sofa). Feedback on what can be improved: 1) The cottage had a very damp mildew like smell...they really need to add an air purifier or some air freshener. 2) The pull out sofa was extremely uncomfortable! It was sagging in the middle with no support. Definitely not worth the price of the larger room (over $650/nt). They can afford to update/upgrade their sofa beds for a long-term return on investment. Not what we were expecting for a high end hotel. 3) No breakfast or lounge areas. Other than that the view was beautiful but self parking was terrifying...a very steep one way in/out roller coaster drive! I would not recommend for family (more than 2). If you are willing to pay lots of $$ for just the view, then this is for you.

Celebrated my husband's birthday getaway in Casa Madrona & we loved everything about our stay. Beautiful Hillside Lower Cottage with a spacious balcony we didn't expect, located in a very strategic location. We practically never used our car going to different restaurants & cafes, enjoying the leisure walks to & fro. Staff was accommodating & very friendly & warm (shoutout to Jim & Jack!). We shall definitely come back and stay here in the future.
