When I got to the property the elevator was not working and they had no rooms on the first floor that were wheel chair accessible. The receptionist at the desk Quanasia was amazing. She found me a room in the hotel next door. Explained my situation. Got the room for me for less and had my room refunded by Expedia within 15 minutes. I was in bed within a half an hour. This receptionists customer service is amazing. She should be promoted to manager or at least get a nice raise. Don’t loose her

This hotel did the job for a quick rest while driving across state with my family of 6. Upon arrival the elevator was out of service and although I called ahead to request a first floor room I was given a 3rd floor room because the first floor was reserved for the disabled and elderly only. So I had to take my 4 kids and all the luggage up the stairs. The bed looked like it had black lint when we pulled the blankets back. There was a deep hole in the pull out bed and there were random brown stains on certain areas of the floor. At breakfast the lady working there had a problem with my small kids (1 & 3) making a mess with cereal and made a slick comment under her breath and didn’t think we would hear. When I asked her why did she say she said it wasn’t okay that our small children made a mess with the cereal and I offered to sweep it up and she said no. I don’t understand why you would complain about small children making a mess when anyone who is a parent knows that any meal time can and will be messy. If it’s such a problem then maybe you should make that clear to people who stay with their family. Overall, I will not be coming back here after this experience. And I urge you to talk to your staff about social awareness, empathy, and proper customer service!

elevator is not working did stay on the first floor. first night our toilet overflowed with no plunger in sight. we used all the towels we had to soak up the water. told front desk had to put all towels out in the hall and asked twice for clean towels, we left for myrtle beach and when we came back we had fresh towels but the bathroom wasn’t clean. bits of toilet paper are everywhere on the floor

Arrived to find out elevator did not work and hasn’t worked in weeks.AC. In room took hours to get cool.Frifdge was broken.Bathroom door looked like someone punched it.Other members of party had mold on the walls and a cracked sink.Hac no choice but to stay since we drove 12 hours.Will be looking to get a refund

The Elevator was out of service and had been out of service for WEEKS prior. The room was not available and should never have been advertised as available. It was a waste of my time, and my payment was held for 2-3 days needlessly. What if my family used a debit card and did not have additional funds to book elsewhere?? If a property is not up to normal expected standards, it should not be able to advertise. An elevator is essential life/safety equipment (not an amenity, like, the pool being out of order...)! I was told, the lack of a functioning elevator and the potential for the room we booked to be unavailable when we arrived with kids and grandma's walker in tow "was in the booking details." Why the heck would a consumer look for those details when booking on Expedia?!? I expect more from Expedia.

Disgruntled receptionist. Spartan furnishings. Missing shampoo dispenser. Insect in bathroom. Broken toilet roll holder. Coarse towels. Lukewarm coffee at morning buffet. Only reason for two stars was ease of on/off I-95. Would not recommend.

It was good for the one night we were there however, the elevator was out and we had to walk up to the second floor. You can tell it’s being renovated, it was a bit older and musky smelling. The room was a bit small and we did have a small crawling visitor in the bathroom. We did let the front desk know but I probably won’t stay here again.

Overall horrible experience

We were told ahead of time elevator was out of order and if we needed special accommodations to call. I called at 1:00 pm on day of reservation and said we would need no higher than 2nd floor because we had someone with a slight disability. The woman’s said they would be able to accommodate our request however when we arrived at 9 pm we were put on the 3rd floor. The stairwell had no AC and it was extremely difficult to make the climb, then to enter the room and not have a good AC, made for a terrible night sleep. The breakfast was so so. The staff though was friendly.
