Stayed 2 nights. First room, 101, smelled like a sewer. Asked for a different room. None available. Identified shower drain as source of stench and plugged it and tried to ventilate room. Went to check out in morning, but was offered room 116. This room was fine. Would not chance staying ever again.

Our room was dirty and has cobwebs. The plastic where the pillows were was filthy the door and floorboards were bad. The curtains didn’t close all the way causing light from outside to come through all night. Our room was near the stairs so we heard people walking by throughout the night.

I give them an A+ for communicating prior to arrival. Check in staff was pleasant. Room is dated which is fine but in my opinion could have been cleaner than it was. Staff during stay were flipant at times. Amenities listed were not available. Location for my flight schedule was ideal

The room was clean and neat and friendly staff. The decor was a bit retro mid century. Refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. Perfect for one person or a couple. I am a travel health professional and found this a pleasant surprise. I’ll be staying here for my 13 week contract.

Was ok, but over rated. Was disappointed we did not have a continental breakfast. Besides the initial cost of the hotel this was the first place we stayed that required an additional 150- deposit on your credit card, in case there was damage to the room. They said it is refunded at checkout.

It was our first time in Sarasota and I felt we got very lucky selecting Golden Host! It was close to the airport and anything else we needed. The room was clean,beds were comfortable and the staff was amazing. the pool area was gorgeous and welcoming! Even enjoyed a nightcap at the tiki bar!!
