Great Hotel in Sarasota! Beautiful, clean, free cookies 4-8pm, Der Dutchman next door. Pool was great with hot tub. Big rooms, and close to the beaches and malls!

The room was clean an comfortable. The staff was very helpful. I would have loved the cinnamon rolls to have been there everyday...lol. I was here for 8 days. My Mother lives in the trailer park next door and I felt safe walking back and forth to be with her.

Everything from check in to check out was great. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The only thing that keeps me from giving five stars is that the shutters in the room didn't block out the sun in the morning. It should be a law that all hotels must have blackout drapes. Despite my exhaustion, I just couldn't sleep in with the sun creeping in through the cracks in the shutters. Request a room on the west side of the hotel if you value your sleep.

This hotel has been a favorite for our Florida trip, and we plan to become regulars when we visit my parents. Breakfast is exceptional, as is the cleanliness, housekeeping, and staff. Our only comment is that the beds were a bit soft for our tastes (lower back issues), but everything was comfortable otherwise.
