This 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath home is located in beautiful Sapphire, NC between Cashiers and Lake Toxaway. Enjoy all the amenities of Sapphire Valley Resort and Fairfield Lake during your visit!

Take in the mountain views off the back covered deck that includes a gas fireplace, gas grill, and a flat screen tv. The living area includes soaring ceilings and a beautiful floor to ceiling stone fireplace (firewood included!).

The spacious master bedroom is located on the main level. Two additional guest bedrooms and a full bathroom are located upstairs. The lower level includes a game room (including a pool table and ping pong table) as well as the 4th bedroom and additional full bathroom.

You're only minutes from Red Bird Golf Course, indoor and outdoor swimming, lake, tennis, community game room, fitness center, hiking, waterfalls, restaurants, and breweries. Enjoy Sapphire Valley Ski Resort and Tubing Park during the winter months. You'll have to come back again and again to fit it all in!

The home comes with the option to purchase Sapphire Valley Resort amenities (these amenities are not at the home). They are in a separate drive-able location. You may access amenities for $5 per day or $25 per week*. Your amenity card will allow access to 2 outdoor swimming pools, indoor heated pool, 2 hot tubs, wet sauna, exercise room, arcade, ping pong, pool table, outdoor miniature golf, “Foot Golf”, horseshoes, basketball courts, tennis courts, playground, walking track, picnic tables, firepit, gem mining, community center, organized excursions, a 9-hole (par 3) golf course, Fairfield Lake boating amenities, and discounts on lift tickets and rentals during ski season.

Fiber optic internet has been installed in our neighborhood which gives us very fast WiFi! Great for using all of your devices (and all of our smart TVs!). This is not available in all areas of the mountains so we’re excited about the addition! We also get great cell service.

This home has a ring door bell which includes a camera to monitor the exterior of our home.

Two twin size rollaway beds are included for additional sleeping spaces.

The closest grocery store is Ingles (6.4 miles).

Some of our favorite restaurants are Osteria Del Monte (2.8 miles), The Library Kitchen & Bar (4.4 miles), Canyon Kitchen (5.8 miles), Whiteside Brewery (7.2 miles), and The Greystone Inn (8.9 miles). Highlands also has a wide variety of delicious restaurants (17.5 miles). Please always be sure to contact the restaurant directly before visiting. Some restaurants in this area are seasonal and closed during certain months.

Panthertown (4.6 miles) and Gorges State Park (6 miles) both offer beautiful hiking.

*The current fee for the Sapphire Valley Resort amenity card is $5 per day or $25 per week, per person. The cost is controlled by the resort and subject to change.

Excellent Stay!

Search no more! You have found the perfect place to stay. This house is spacious and cozy at the same time. We loved sitting around the wood-burning fireplaces (inside and outside) and playing pool downstairs. We cooked most of our meals at home and found the kitchen to be surprisingly well stocked. The proximity to the Sapphire Resort was perfect for our three teenagers. The online pictures accurately reflected the property, which is always a relief. The owners promptly responded to any questions we had. Enjoyable trip!

Sweet Hickory is a sweet spot

We enjoyed a long fall weekend with our family at Sweet Hickory. Everyone had plenty of room and the outdoor deck with fireplace was an awesome spot to spend time together. The property is easy to get to and had plenty of parking space. The host was very communicative.

Outstanding Family Get Together Location

I was looking to book a pleasant, mountain home ideal for relaxation and some fun things to do for my grand kids. This was the perfect spot for that and more! We especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplaces as well as the ping-pong table and billiards table. The home was spacious and easily accommodated the needs of the 7 of us with room to spare. The owners obviously pay attention to the many small details that make for a special place to vacation. The owner was especially helpful and timely when I had questions. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Vacation Home

This property is wonderful with everything to make your stay comfortable, cozy and to cook for a group. The kitchen had everything you need, including a gas stove. The beds were super comfortable, the bathrooms were awesome and the outdoor fireplace was stunning. The view is beautiful and having access to amenities at Sapphire Valley Resort was fun. Hiking trails not far, along with easy access to Cashiers. Our host was very responsive and friendly.

Ideal House for Multi Family Vacation!

Wonderful house! We traveled with two other families and there was plenty of room for all. Fully stocked kitchen for making large meals. We enjoyed using the pool table, sitting around the outdoor fireplace and hiking to several waterfalls all within a few miles from the house.

Girls Trip ‘23

We are a group of college friends who gather every year. This house was absolutely lovely. We love to sit on an outdoor porch with a fireplace and this was perfect for us. Loads of wood for us to burn too! This kitchen was the best equipped we’ve ever enjoyed. The only issue we encountered was road noise as trucks climbed the double switchback on 64 - only slightly distracting.
