Tired and in need of an update

The hotel is in need of gutting and bringing up to modern standards. The room was very shabby and the brown bathroom suite had evidence of mould and watermarks. Plus one of the shower doors was missing. The whole room looked as though it dated from a 1970's motel.

Only stay if you speak Portuguese

The hotel is basic and reasonably clean which suited my needs initially. However I had a few separate bookings because I was travelling while in South America and using Sao Paulo as a base. I wanted to leave my main luggage at the hotel during my other trips, but was told that no luggage storage was available. Furthermore the staff either could not speak English or if they did, their English was limited. I was very surprised by this considering the location and also with my visit shortly preceeding the world cup. As the title of my review indictates, if you don´t speak English, try elsewhere. In my case, I made alternative arrangements. If you get hit with the language barrier, I suggest using the computer near the reception and use a translation website to help out.

They charge you for everything, Internet very expensive Local phone calls extremely expensive, just be carefull most hotels dont charge for those things, you think you are getting a bargain, at the end of the day you pay the same as if you go to a more expensive hotel.

I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the service of this hotel. There was no internet available, not even to pay for and there was no fitness room or business center. The only pc in the lobby did not work ever and I was unable to print out anything because they DID NOT HAVE A PRINTER! The room supplies were very small and of poor quality. There were not enough towels either. Every time I asked the staff for information or directions, they did not have any. If they promised to get back at me with the request, after a long time apparently they had forgot because when I had to ask again they had not even search for it.

O que ainda salva o hotel é o atendimento. Os funcionários da recepção e cozinha são gentis e prestativos. Já a privacidade da área de banho no banheiro, em relação aos imóveis próximos é nula e não tem como evitar ser visto ao tomar banho. Além disso, o banheiro não tem área de banho separada, ao tomar banho alaga todo e não tem como evitar.
