Perfect location and good communication
The accomodation was perfectly situation beside the cathedral and onky a few minutes away from the old town. We booked a room with a balcony and enjoyed seeing the pligrims enter Santiago.
Personnel super friendly and helpful! The location of the property is what it can be tricky! Super close to everything that been said there’s people in the street at 3:30am making noises and of course you hear everything 😳

It’s in an amazing location, just a few hundred metres from the cathedral.
Overall a great property with excellent location. Dining, shopping etc. were all walking distance. Staff was excellent despite language barrier and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. We stayed here at the end of our pilgrimage on the Camino de Santiago and were very pleased. I would highly recommend the property for anyone visiting the area.
We had 3 twin beds with private bath. Perfect for us. Close to Cathedral. It had storm shutters, windows, and black out shutters inside so the noise from street did not affect us. It was cool out and we had a fan. No A/C as said in description. Wifi not strong enough to reach room.
Great location. Our room had balcony where we could sit.
Staff friendly and helpful.
Would return here.
For a small city hotel it offered exactly what we needed.
Comfortable clean room and bathroom.
Pico Sacro II Hotel is a nice property managed by a lovely family. I highly recommend the hotel. It is very clean, very comfortable and quiet, and a great location - just steps away from Santiago Cathedral and Obradoiro Square. The staff is very helpful and accommodating, It was a wonderful "home" while visiting Santiago. I extended my reservation of a total stay of 4 days.
Great little hotel in an older charming building steps from the catherdral and in the old town. My friend and I were just finishing the camino and absolutely appreciated that they accomodated an early check-in at noon as we were beat after walking since 6am. Hotel was clean and confortable, the area in right in the middle of the action so some regular touristy chatter noise is normal, like in any such areas. The reception also arranged for a taxi at 5am next day so that we can catch the train to Madrid...would stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Disliked: Room comfort
This place was an hostal and not a hotel as advertised. The hotel part was adjacent and not clearly advertised by Expedia. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean, but extremely noisy as it was on the first floor, facing a busy walking street. If the windows are closed one does not hear anything, but one can also sofocante since the room had no ventilation other than an open window.
Excellent location. We stayed here on the completion of our Camino. Very close to the cathedral. Helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable room and Bar/cafe connected
Arrived in Santiago de Compostela after walking part of the Camino de la Plata and booked a one night stay at this hotel. Was welcomed with friendly and helpful staff. Room was spotless, very comfortable and clean. Would definatly stay at this Hostal / Hotel again.

Great location. Lose to the Cathedral
We booked late, because we didn't know for sure when we'd arrive in Santiago. Our room was the last available according to the Expedia website, the price was right, and was near to the Cathedral, so we booked it. The staff was great, the hotel was clean, but our room was on the top floor and only about 20%of the room had a ceiling height that didn't make you bend over to avoid hitting your head. The bed was also not very comfortable. The private bathroom was nice, as we'd been staying in albergue for the past 5 weeks. Overall, a nice place to stay, but avoid the 3rd floor rooms in the hostel if you can.
This hotel was well located within walking distance of everything. Great staff & so friendly. Room was Cleal and roomy with good bathroom & bath! Very reasonably priced! Great value!
Hostal Pico Sacro is a great little hotel in an amazing location. It is literally about 300m from the Cathedral and therefore right in the centre of the hustle and bustle of Santiago. However, this central location had its drawbacks in that our room was at the back of the hotel looking out onto a narrow street below. This was generally very quiet but at regular intervals, groups of pilgrims would walk past celebrating their achievement and the sound was amplified through the windows.
The room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean, although quite basic. Our only complaint was that the shower fluctuated between hot and cold and would vary in power at different times of day. I was scalded at one point when the water suddenly turned extremely hot mid-shower.
The ladies on reception were very friendly and helpful and would always give us a nice greeting when we came and went.
Breakfast didn't seem to be available in the hotel, but there is a lovely little cafe a couple of doors down that had everything we needed.
The cost for the room was very competitive as well, especially given the price of other hotels in the immediate area.
There's a taxi rank about 50m from the hotel that had a good service day and night. There was always two or three taxis waiting there every time we walked past. We took one to the airport on a Sunday morning at 08:00 and it only cost €21 and arrived in about 20 minutes.
