Wonderful vacation spot!

Our family love staying in Watercolor Townhouse 9. We have stayed in Watercolor for years, but this was by far our favorite. I will definitely rent through Realjoy again. Walt was the BEST to work with. He was helpful before we arrived and all during our stay. We had one maintenance issue and David was sent quickly to repair. can't say enough good things about our stay!!

Enjoyed our first trip to Seaside/Watercolor! The condo was great - a perfect location. Easy access to everything; pool, beach, the square. The bikes were so nice and we really liked the Watercolor beach access. Private enough to avoid crowds yet close enough to the square to walk to enjoy everything that Seaside has to offer! The condo was awesome! We enjoyed coffee and cocktails on the patio everyday, and had more than enough space for our group. The linens and beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well appointed and we had everything we needed! RealJoy was great as well - clear communication and very responsive. Highly recommend!

Great spot

Large multi level condo beachfront and next to the Beach Club. Very large and comfortable and well appointed. Loved the locale close to the beach, amenities and restaurants. Easy biking to wherever we wanted to go. Only wish we could have seen the gulf better from the balcony but the dunes and vegetation prevented that.

Nice House but needed some TLC

We loved Watercolor area and all the amenities that came with the property. The VRBO itself was nice for our family and could have definently brought another family of four, but there were things about the property that needed some TLC - the back door never locked and door handle was crooked, tile in Master bedroom near shower was cracked, there were no bath mats in any of the bathrooms. I think this place could easily be 5 stars, they just need to fix a couple of these items plus leave some dishwashing soap (at least enough to do a load) and detergent for the guest (one load again). They do this in other vrbos this price range, and think it would be good to do here too. Plus, a book to explain where the bikes are, how to book on house (tv, coffee pot), places in area… usually have this as well in other vrbos. I asked property manager where bikes were first day and never got a response.

Positives: Great location, big spaces, washer/dryer, garage parking, short distance to the beach Negatives: No deadbolts on main exterior doors, door locks not working on bedrooms, mold on bathroom ceiling on bottom floor, blinds broken, lots of wear and tear on fixtures and trim work, past guests hair in master shower not cleaned, no key to garage entry door, lighting was out on back porch and our beach umbrella was stolen off the back porch and our door handles tried, the sheriff’s department stated there have been problems with thefts in the area at night when I reported the incident, RealJoy (property manager) unresponsive to request to look at locks when i first arrived and hard to get in touch with even for VRBO, property manager unresponsive to requests once theft happened for lights and door locks both by RealJoy and VRBO. Overall, disappointed with the property managers responsiveness to the door locks pre and post theft. VRBO took no responsibility in the situation either. Cameras on the property were not accessible when I did get to speak with the property manager. For thirteen hundred a night including fees, I would expect some responsiveness when a theft occurs and I would expect things to be in better repair.

Overall, we loved the location and convenience of this unit. The unit was spacious and cleanly. The only downside for us was the AC won’t go below 70 but really not lower than 74 at night. It was a little toasty for us.

Beautiful townhouse. Beautiful beach. Pool and beach close by. Great restaurants within walking distance. Great biking area. We would have loved for the third bedroom to have a queen or king bed because we were three couples but understand why twin beds make sense for children or single guests.

Wish we could buy it!

Great location. Very close to a pool. Close to beach access. You can actually see the ocean. Plenty of space. there is a parking garage. Our second time to stay here. A great place to stay.

Overall great place!

Great location, with easy beach and pool access. Overall great stay! We did have an issue with receiving our wristbands, and had to call the day after arriving to have them delivered. We were only there for the weekend so this was a bit inconvenient. However, they were delivered within 2 hrs. The shower head in the master bathroom did fall when we turned the shower on, but my husband was able to put it back up. This also occurred with the curtain rod in the master bedroom.

Would would definitely stay here again but there were some upkeep issues that needed to be addressed. Pros: Pool 10 feet from lower level back door; we were often the only ones using it and it felt like our private pool 50 feet to beach access, bridge was the perfect spot to watch the sunset Several restaurants on-site that deliver as well 1 block from the 3 Watercolor pools seen in pictures Townhouse had all the amenities you need like full kitchen/washer dryer It also surprised us with beach chairs, shovels for kids to play in sand, and boogie boards Parking space was next to lower level door-convenient to unload Cons: Both doors to twin bedroom bathroom did not fully latch which was extra annoying since that room was off of the kitchen One of the twin beds sagged in the middle-very uncomfortable There was broken glass by the lower level backdoor that my son cut his foot on twice The lower level has the queen room/2nd family room and the bathroom toilet handle needs repair The floors were very dirty - expect your bare feet or socks to be black after walking on them The dishwasher and clothes dryer were difficult to use and dryer did not always dry clothes All that said, for the location (10 min walk to Seaside; steps to the beach), amenities (multiple pools including one right behind unit), large enough space for 6 people, balcony with a view of water (not beach) we would go back for sure.

Best Location

This place is in an awesome location. We have been going to Watercolor for years and stayed in this place a few times. There was a real bad roach infestation. Between all the people there we managed to take 4 roaches home. Totally disgusting and uncalled for. Also, a lot of vandalizing and stealing during our week there. We brought 2 of our personal bikes and one got stolen the second night there. And yes, it was locked up. Both bikes were locked together and the lock was still in tact. Thinking they cut the front wheel . Will say each time we called with a complaint it was addressed promptly and to the best of their ability.

Watercolor early May 2022

Excellent property in a great location. There are two suggestions: The floors were not as clean as possible as anyone walking barefoot inside the property quickly found out. The second issue was not being aware that there is an exclusive provider of golf carts for Watercolor (Electric Car Company). This is fine as long as you know; we had reserved a cart from a different company ahead of time and found out when arriving that they are not allowed in the community. On another note the clothes dryer did not work well. Overall the property is great and would definitely recommend to others and stay there again!

Great location!

We were very comfortable and the location was great. Food and medication under furniture and on rugs was very unacceptable. Black mold on the ceiling of the downstairs bath also needs to be addressed. Appliances were as expected for a rental property. If I was the owner, I would no be very happy.
