Our stay at majestic palace was relaxing, beautiful and excellent. As it was our first time in Sorrento, staying at this location was so convenient. We were able to walk to the beach and all the other local stores and restaurants around. The view from the hotel was also spectacular and staff was very kind and attentive. Can’t wait to stay here again.

It was very walkable to bus stops and train station. Walkable to a beach and some good restaurants. The staff in the dinning was wonderful, helped us warm up our baby’s food. The staff in the upstairs lounge, one woman was too aggressive for me. Questioned why I was there -I asked if it was a private event and she said no- so I was confused - then she asked if I was going to order drinks, after I said yes, she asked “how many” I felt very unwelcome. Other than that the property is beautiful and our tours were able to pick up and drop off from here so it is a good location to stay. So be outspoken if people are rude to you, I let it slide but I regret it.

Lovely property close enough to the hustle & bustle of the centre of Sorrento. It far enough away to enjoy a peaceful stay. The pool area was quiet but was not opened until 9am so if like me you like to enjoy the peaceful time as sun rises you can sit by reception to read u til the pool gates are opened. I unfortunately had a fall during my stay whilst walking around Sorrento (be careful as the paths in Italy are not the best) and was only able to obtain one ice pack from the staff at reception even though I needed one for my ankle &my knee and then the next day they had none when I asked. Prices at the terrace bar are excessive €12 for a soft drink! Also was charged for the complimentary water each day which we’d assumed was free.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Nice pool and beautiful rooftop bar. A bit of a walk from the main square in Sorrento but there are plenty of closer restaurants. Taxis are very expensive even to the Piazza which is only a 5 minute drive. Ubers do not operate in the area.

Good location, great balcony views. Food nice if limited, rooftop bar a little pricey but a beautiful setting. Not just here, but a kettle in the room would be a welcomed touch. Balcony furniture rather rusty and in need of replacing.

From the moment we arrived, our stay at the Majestic Place Hotel in Sorrento was nothing short of spectacular. This truly is a majestic place! The hotel itself exudes elegance and comfort, with beautifully appointed rooms and common areas that make you feel right at home. But what truly sets this hotel apart are two key elements: their incredible rooftop bar and their absolutely amazing staff. The rooftop martini bar is, without a doubt, a highlight. The views over Sorrento and the Bay of Naples are breathtaking, especially at sunset. The ambiance is fantastic, and it quickly became our favorite place to relax after a day of exploring. It’s a 25min walk to the center of Sorrento If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Sorrento, with an awesome rooftop bar and staff who are truly amazing, look no further than the Majestic Place Hotel!

Clearly, there’s been a lot of time in the public area and for the Michelin star restaurant. But breakfast is bare minimum comes from a machine. A lot of package baked goods. The bar area is beautiful, but the rooftop bar you cannot even go up there without paying for cover fee of one drink. The rooms are bare minimum with white walls. The shower only has a half glass wall that does not shield water from splashing. If you take a long shower, the floor will be flooded afterwards. This is with us using the rain showerhead not a handheld shower Wand that could smash everywhere. Overall, it’s not a bad hotel. It’s convenient. Parking is 10 minutes away. We just surprise at the name and the room charge for the kind of room we received. We should’ve looked closely at the pictures.
