About this property
Relax on a stunning classic super yacht in a soothing waterfront setting
La Fenice — Historic 95ft Motor Yacht, Crew & Breakfast Included
Step aboard a piece of maritime history. La Fenice is a 95-foot classic motor yacht designed by the legendary naval architect Laurent Giles and launched in 1962 as the British mothership for the 1964 America's Cup in Newport, Rhode Island. She has since served with the French Navy and was owned by the celebrated photographer Peter Lindbergh. Her interiors were redesigned by Christian Liaigre — one of the most respected names in French design — in rich dark walnut, leather, and clean architectural lines that feel more like a boutique hotel than anything you'd expect to find on the water.
Today she is berthed in La Ràpita, a quiet fishing town on the edge of the Ebro Delta Natural Park in southern Catalonia — one of the Mediterranean's last unspoilt stretches of coastline. This is not the crowds of Barcelona or the marina scene of the Balearics. It is wild rice paddies, pink flamingos, empty beaches, and some of the finest seafood in Spain, straight off the boats and onto your plate.
La Fenice sleeps up to 9 guests across four private staterooms — three with double beds and one twin — each with its own ensuite shower room and hair dryer. The yacht is fully air-conditioned and heated, so she is comfortable whatever the season. All linen and towels are provided.
Your stay is looked after by our crew, who remain onboard throughout for your comfort and safety. A freshly prepared breakfast is included each morning.
Your booking covers the dockside stay aboard La Fenice with crew, breakfast, and all linen and towels. For anything beyond that — a day exploring the Ebro Delta, a night at anchor under the stars, additional catering, or anything else you have in mind — contact us directly and we'll put together something bespoke around your trip.
La Ràpita itself is a relaxed, walkable town with excellent restaurants and a genuine local character that larger resorts lost long ago.
La Fenice is berthed in a working marina and we operate under a strict code of conduct that all guests must agree to before booking is confirmed. This covers noise, behaviour, and respect for the vessel, crew, and marina. It is non-negotiable and our crew are empowered to enforce it. The code of conduct will be shared with you in full before you commit, so there are no surprises — we just ask that you read it carefully and understand that it applies throughout your stay. A refundable damage deposit also applies.
This isn't a holiday let that happens to be on a boat. It's a yacht with sixty years of extraordinary history, a world-class interior, and a crew who genuinely care about making your stay exceptional. There is nothing else like her on VRBO.
