Nasty - Do not stay

Explaining it now that the pictures that are advertised for the wolf inn are deeply faked. My friend and I trusted them to be able to make sure the room was clean there were butt stains wet stains on the chairs the floor had dead bugs under the bed, they did not clear out the trash cans, the bathroom had black mold, the bathroom was not clean, it had pieces of chipped paint in the tub, the pool was not filtered you could see the dirt on people, and you could tell they didn't clean their pool constantly. There was a lot wrong with the room. My proof is down below in the pictures provided so if you decide to stay in Sandusky. I highly recommend a Super 8 a motel 8 or one of the chain places. Do not stay here at the Wolf inn

Sheets, dirty environment, unsafe, unsanitary room, horrible service we were at because we asked for clean sheets they had blood all over them got told she wasn’t dealing with. This did not stay. There went to a far better hotel down the road. Absolutely do not rent from Wolf Inn in Ohio.

The photos shown online did not accurately show the lack of quality of this property. The rooms were dirty; the towels had a film on them. I went out and purchased my own. The bed was slanted down towards the headboard, and you could feel all the springs in the mattress. The pool closing time was not enforced, and people were up swimming and being loud in that area until after midnight. I forfeited my last reserved day and went to a real hotel.

Room was dirty, bathroom door was broken and it wouldn’t close , shower knob broke off as I try to turn it on. The Hotel looks nothing like the app pictures, the total opposite, will not recommend to no one.

Okay here we go-First time in Ohio and this motel. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly when we checked in. We were going to be on the second floor, but he switched us to a room on the first floor. I have bad knees and there is no elevator. When we got to the room everything at first sight looked good. But, as we looked around we started to “see”the problems. First there are no safety latches or chains on the door. When we asked about it we were told Ohio law states they can’t have them on the doors. I looked it up and there is no such law. Plus a family two doors down from us who I talked to had the latch and chain on their door. Second, the two right dresser drawers were broken. Third, the room was filthy. I moved my bed about two inches and there was garbage and food underneath. Fourth, the bathroom door would not close. It was like it was too big for the frame. Fifth, the vent in the bathroom was disgustingly dirty. I went to wipe up the floor after I took a shower and my towel was black. I saw the housekeeper walking around with a broom and dustpan, but no mop. There were quite a few “residents “ living there. When you were outside the smell of skunk weed permeated your nose. The water in the sink is not drinkable. It smells and tastes awful. Every night when you turned on the faucet in the bathtub it would come out yellow at first. I took pictures of the things that I have talked about.

Pros: I didn't meet a single staff member that wasn't friendly, the area is down the street from several shopping and dining options, lastly it's within 10mins of Cedar Point. Cons: Hotel is a motel. Not a hotel. It is FILTHY and incredibly outdated. It's "seedy" and in desperate need of updates. We booked 2 adjoining rooms for our family and both rooms had visible mold in the showers. The beds were dingy and uncomfortable. We drove to Walmart the first night and bought bedding so that we could even sleep on it. The deadbolts don't work on the doors (staff did say it was an Ohio ordinance for safety, but that isn't a thing I've heard in a single other state or country I've been in and I've been to 10+ so far). I booked based on the overall rating I saw and wished I would have read the Google reviews first. This place could be a gem if the owner updated the rooms to make them at least LOOK clean. I would never stay here again.

No room services provided, no towels, bed sheet or trash change. Worse among all was noise bed, loose curtains which struggled to close, less privacy, extremely scrappy and tattered bathroom. The receptionist told me bring my dirty sheets and towels all the way to her office in exchange for a new one. Images kept on the hotel was so deceptive and l couldn’t believe what l saw. I tried to sleep one night and went for a refund the second day. Must be my most terrible experience.

Staff was really nice. Everything in the room felt sticky. The carpet especially. Our room had wires hanging out of the wall. Everywhere in the building smelled like old cigarette smoke. The shower was questionable. From the curtain to the tub seemed dirty. Beds looked clean and were comfy.
